Also shouldn't there be a fee for mobile field repairs?
I think about 100 million should be about right for the cost of 1 mobile field repair
Armor is expensive man...especially when your repairing it mid-battle

Interesting idea. It would be the next logical step after the introduction of Coolant Flush.

they can bring them in the original form... 1 point of armor per match lol...
but i have a feeling that one day they´ll slam something like that into our face... i lost my faith regarding such things... come on,bring them... i survived over 10 years w/o a MW game... would be sad, but i can do it another 10 years

50% repair would be too much, but maybe 10% or 15%, why not?
At least in the books there were "field repairs", too - given our fast paced matches of 10-15minutes, powering down for 15 to 20 secs for 10% armor sounds fair as long as it is one time per match.
Would be a better mechanic than coolant flush, because you had to leave the battle and you would be vulnerable for that time.

A game only lasts 15 minutes. A few seconds wouldn't even repair a fraction of a point of armour on one location.

I think the answer to this one is pretty obviously resounding:
Permanent damage, like no respawns, is one of the things that sets MWO apart from all the other vanilla shooters these days.
If PGI read this thread and add this to the game, I am holding you personally responsible.

2. Since we will get consumables anyway it is just a matter of making every consumable of same value.
3. since we know the vaules of air strikes/artillery and coolant flushes we just need a value for armor repaired in x time.
4. Let's say you can repair 2 points of armor in 15 seconds (and you have to shutdown and use up your drone at once meaning you can't start repairing then fight and continue repairing again) it would have the same value as the flushes for me....
This would be 8 armor in 1 minute. 24 Armor in 3 Minutes, 40 Armor in 5 Minutes. up to 120 armor in 15 Minutes (not feasable). For me this sounds balanced, since it means you are totally exposed at that time.
PS: PGI, If you are still planing to add 3rd person view, make it a consumable too
