Well since I SAID it, yes I did say. Unoriginal troll is still unoriginal.

The game is in beta, and there is not much massively multiplayer gaming going on, as 8 vs 8 matches are hardly that. Remove C-Bills to let people experiment with the game. Put them back later. It would definitely make it more interesting for starters.

The PPC story sounds interesting... are you able to get this finding in the TestLab...with stationary targets?

THEY FIXED IT!!!

for the first time ever in this game i get to aim the ERPPC on my jenner! i just murdered a streakmando with it because i could aim my shots for the first time ever! this was NEVER possible before even during closed beta!

i think i am going to have words with some of the ECM mechs now :)

Yep i had the same wish i am happy that you posted this idea.

AN ABSOLUTE AND CLEAR YES!

hope that any publisher will see it and create it. That would be one of the most helpfull tools in the game.
When i started i wasted about 40 mio c bills for testing.Would be nice to prevent that.

Greetings. Kurita out.

I think this should be a benefit of premium time.

A: encourages people to buy premium
B: more money for PGI
C: Isn't necessary to play/enjoy the game while still being useful.

i have a jenner with an ERPPC.

~~

extremely difficult to accurately lead targets with the ERPPC. as a result i am forced to line up "bombing runs" if i wish to accurately fire my ERPPC. this is an effect that is not listed in any stat anywhere. i imagine very few people know about this because there are very few light pilots who are willing to mount an ERPPC on their mech.

Yep. I had exactly the same issue when i ran an ERPPC Jenner. Glad to see it wasnt just me. :)

Totally on board with the Special Use Testing Mechbay.

Testing ground we got now is quite useless without this, just next logical step, thumbs UP!!!

I like the basic idea of this.

I honestly thought the 'testing grounds' would be something closer to this than the half *** effort it currently is.

So basically smurphy's, without having to browse the internet?

Sounds legit. Would've saved me from buying a Guass Rifle.

Oh and about that, add a firing mech to testing grounds.. Just 1 shooting ballistics, 1 with lasers, and 1 with missiles. They just stand there and shoot. This way we can test how often our weapons explode from criticals. Prevent a lot of people from buying the Gauss if they knew just how terrible it is if you get shot at twice a match.

I just want to be able to test if a build is possible before I waste the money buying a mech only to find out there isn't enough room or such.

This is pretty much what closed beta was like. They gave us thousands of MC every week to just try more stuff. Was pretty awesome.

Anyway, I do like the idea of a test bay. Or just being able to test-drive stuff in the training grounds before buying it. All it does is allow people to be more informed buyers, which is a good thing. Can't think of too many negative things about this, so yes, until I think of how it'd break the game somehow.

don't worry someone will find a way to accuse this of being pay to win. just give it time.

Based on my last attemps to do anything usefull with my third Centurion....i changed my vote from no to yes.
The 9-D Cent is fast...it is well rounded...but when i want to use all of that advantages i have to few armor or to few fire power.
I can not match that thing into anything that i feel comfort with- so i reduced the engine...and what - i could have done the same with the 9-A....maybe even better....so in the end...i will grind that Centurion and afterwards sell it as fast as i can.

That increases the number of "miss" bought mechs to a five.

i know in closed beta i bought the wrong atlas on at least two or three different occasions. the MWO wiki is a big help but something where i don't have to alt tab out of the game constantly or run tonnage and critspace numbers through my skull constantly when buying a new mech would be nice.

along with showing many of the unlisted quirks like missile tube limits and so on.

A really good idea, the Mechlab atm is a bit clunky and it's very easy to make mistake when designing your mechs.

If the game really wants people to pay for things being able to try them first would probably help.

I would never never never never never ever buy a car without a test drive.
