Okay, I'll bite. How about adjusting this one:

I've tried going with brawler builds with the 2x, but wasnt really happy with any results. I just felt like the damage output wasnt on par with its survivability (or vice versa actually, whatever). So, I started leaning on LRMs a little bit more til i came up with this little gem. It feels a little clunky at first, but I feel it functions well as a supporter. Yell at me all you want for using a brawler as a support mech, I'm used to going against the grain.
If you want to use CTF2X as a support with LRM and Gauss, why not take XL engine? Your gauss in the shoulder will tend to explode anyway, so not a big deal. With more speed you will survive more and will be better at choosing position from where to snipe and rain LRM's. With more speed you also do not need AMS that much. Your tag arm does not need full armor either.
With all these changes and removing 1 ton of LRM you can even fit in two medium lasers instead of two small ones, which is handy.
So here is my version of your build with 300XL and two mediums:

Another version (if you really still want to be slow) with XL255 and a large laser instead of two small ones:

Please note that I shifted rear armor to front a little bit. More proper for support mech.
You can also do some build with XL280, which you might have, if you bought stock 3D.
The main message: if you want to strike from the distance, take XL engine, especially with gauss in the shoulder.
