pretty much optimized with that layout imo, the ams has questionable usefulness right now after the lrmpocalypse, but you wouldn't benefit that much from 1.5 more tons since you have maxed engine and plenty of ammo

You've gotten close. The big issue is that no, Ferro Fibrous is crap on assault mechs. There are *very* few builds that use it; you're almost always better off with Endosteel where you have a choice. Drop the ferro fibrous, replace with Endosteel. Fill with another heat sink, put max armor on the legs and head. Ferro-fibrous armor is good where a> you have a lot of critical spaces to spare after Endo-steel, b> you need to get as many armor points as possible out of as little weight as possible, and c> aren't able to mount a lot of weapons and equipment due to weight concerns. On an Assault 'Mech, Ferro-Fibrous a> takes up space you need for heavier, bulkier weapons and b> doesn't benefit the 'mech through weight savings.

XD i always fail to notice when people have ferro instead of endo, and just so people know , ferro DOES NOT, i repeat, DOES NOT, give you better armor, just more armor for the same tonnage, but if you have maxed out armor you won't get a defensive bonus because you can't put any more armor on anyway, endo is always better when you only have room for only one or the other

http://mwo.smurfy-ne...b4bbb99e75f9b20 2 tons for you to use, added endo, and i also added some leg armor, i feel as if you didn't have enough armor there, but if its fine for you, feel free to remove it for more tons
Thanks all for the advice, I was under the impression that I would get an armor buff from getting the ferro armor, now that I know it doesn't I'll be switching that around, removing the AMS and adding 2 DHS as well as buffing all my armor points to their max! Thanks again!!
