Can I call it or what, actually that is the first time I guessed right, but it does fill in that assault gap nicely. The reimagining is great, totally looks like a catapault hit the weight room for a few months. This is probably the best representation of an assault mech. Tons of weapons, great armor, and slow speed, this is THE assault mech. A weapon for every range and situation, only thing lacking is a gun for all those AC lovers out there. From what I remember of my TT days, this thing shreds between 180-270 meters.

EGG-CELLENT!!! Another egg-spertly rerendered mech. Egg-xactly the assault mech that should have been included. Another egg-xample of the devs egg-ceeding all egg-pectations.

Arrise my EGGZILLA and rain death upon those who would LAAF at your greatness.

I always did call this 'mech the Big Bad Egg.

I'll take FD's over the old art any day of the week. There is no way in heck that the old design could actually stay stable with the way it's legs were set up.

Edit: For some goofball reason after another look at the Stalker I want to give it as big an engine as I can and M.A.S.C.. It would have to sacrifice firepower to do so, but that is one tauric mech configuration. CHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then they should replace the PPC "gun" arms of the Warhammer, with hands. Or replace the skull face of the AS7 Atlas with a chrome plate. Somethings are canon, and thus should not be changed that much. Otherwise its a good looking mech, but not a Stalker.

And your trying to tell me it wouldnt stay stable, are you aware you are talking about 4 story tall walking fusion reactors that go nuclear on core failures, which is against everything real life tells us. Oh and an autocannon has only a range of 270-720m. Please dont try and bring some vague form of reality to Battletech.

This proves it.

Alex Iglesias has made a pact with dark forces to procure magic powers of turning cheesy 80's TRO artwork into great looking designs.

If he can make the Stalker look cool, everything else should be easy.

Cheers.

he must have sold his soul to ***** to fix the fugly of the tro stalker!

ps dislexic devil worshippers sell their souls to santa!

For a backwards-strutting-corncob, it doesn't look that bad.

Still hate it, with a passion.

Sweet, but why is it reverse jointed? I thought the cannon design used a bipedal setup?

Also, nice subtle references, I was just playing that game all this week.

Love it! So glad the knees bend the way they do!! Great job!

Exactly my one and only complaint with this new take on the chassis. The cohesive look of these new designs makes it look like a big Catapult to me.

I remember getting laughed at a lot in BT:Solaris for piloting the stalker a lot. The absurdedly large right and left torso "hitboxes" made hitting those and removing half the mech's weapons a breeze. But they were REALLY fun to drive. And sometimes they wouldn't take out your torsos first of the match, that's when they REALLY paid for the error of thier ways, LOL. It's a great mech, even with it's heat problems.
