It's the result of a back and forward RP Thom and I did a little while ago. It switches point of view mulitple times, so doesnt read like a complete piece of prose. I hope that makes it more entertaining than it does interrupt the flow. Was certainly a blast to write.
Oh, and it may or may not be quite long. Just a heads up

Also, glad to finally see everyone else getting to read that post, Shep (and Thom)! Nice job!
PS: Did we come to a conclusion on whether we were going to run a C3 network or not? If not, Adrianna's C3 Master will get downgraded to a Beagle and six jump jets.

To my understanding, The Bounty Hunter is a character, not the name of the mech varrient, and is still using his Maraduer at this point in the timeline (Suspect it's multiple people under the same name).

My vote is for the network, but it doesn't seem like there's a lot of enthusiasm from everyone else. It seems like we're still missing some people though.

Thanks for the save Sparks, I should have a reply up at some point tomorrow. I guess 'tomorrow' for me starts in about 20 hours or so.

My vote is for a lance-worth of c3 as well. With Li scouting, Adrianna and Cees providing versatile fire platforms(not to mention the c3 Master's built in TAG) and the fourth being a fire support/heavy mech, we'd have a good little unit going. I guess what we have to consider is that if we go with c3, two mechs of the six will not be able to benefit from the enhanced targeting data.
I’m working on Cees’ on-dropship post prior to the briefing at the moment. Will have it up soon!

We could use C3i, except that ComStar don't invent it for another year, and even then, they're ComStar and don't like sharing.

From what I was able to decipher from Sarna there's been at least three people that have assumed the identity of the BH. Sarna is also vague on what mech he's using during this timeline, all it says for sure is that he upgraded his 3015 version Marauder in 44... Me thinks that during this time frame he's using the Madcat or the Marauder II...

Bought at a greatly inflated price, I might add.

It was fun, though I may say I liked it better when we still planning on that taking place on Coventry, I get a kick out of pulling fast ones on Lyrans.

Totally. All the super cool stuff belongs to the toaster-worshipers... It's a shame, that Raijin mech looks pretty... Well if you got rid of that dumb SSRM2.
Edit: Pretty artwork, Sparky.

@Sparks, woops. I genuinely thought it came out in the '50s and folk had begun stealing it by now.

Was looking at it's stats, not the artwork. Yeah I gotta agree with you, it is pretty hideous...
For everybody else... To look over and see any flaws with my math, (likely already fixed one thing.) It doesn't have the knock out punch I like my builds to have, but it has the C3 Master and range to be a decent support/command mech.
Thom's Marauder, which he's convinced is the Bounty Hunter's, but it isn't. He got scammed and bought this mech as a greatly inflated price thinking it was the infamous mech. In the months since he's had it, he's dipped deep into his private fortune (what's not invested in Jumpship company) and caches of salvage giving the mech a make over. It's now his pride and joy. It parts from the Bounty Hunter's personal paint scheme because even Thom's not dumb enough to roll with that paint job. But he does pay homage to the infamous MechWarrior by using a similar shade of green in his personal scheme and uses credit symbols to represent his kills.
