Heavy and medium clan mechs are my forte.

When it comes to Assaults I prefer an IS one over a Clan one any day of the week.

But yeah. Heavy and mediums is where I'm the most capable.

Aside from the Battlemaster and the Awesome I hate assault Mechs. I'd rather pilot my trusty old Thunderbolt than an Atlas

I'm hoping for playable non-mechs. Tracklayers are where it's at, man.

Prefer mediums my self, but will have to play.

If 100t mechs turn and move like 20 t ones then no reason not to go heavy.

But if balanced then, even a small mech should have roles and uses.

I am the kind of pilot that has to be in control of the entire battle. The assault class mechs are the linch pin in any fight. Even if all the other mechs are doing their jobs, the battle can still go bad if the assault mech is not running things right. I almost ALWAYS run in an assault mech, that way I feel like the most important job is in the most capable hands.

With the information warfare aspect that they are advertising i will probably look into scouting, so that will mean light weights for me, but im also thinking about the heavy weight class as alot of my favorites belong to that grouping, especially if the Ostsol makes an appearence. Only way im taking an Assault is if the Banshee BNC-5S is in here.

Yeah man. I really liked the crab in the mektek mekpak. The guillotine is also an extremely underrated machine.

I beat MW3 with a Blackhawk Ku after winning it the fourth mission; thus I must say the Blackhawk...or the Wolfhound. Lasers are more accurate and require no ammo.

Considering that we're looking at Inner Sphere mechs for starting, I'm rather partial to the Centurion and Orion. Well armored, decent movement and good configurations. i might make a few mods here and there, but the designs themselves are solid. If they impliment the way it sounds, it might be like the old books say and fielding an Assult or even a Heavy can be rather monetarily costly. Even in 3049, Assults were rather hard to keep in repair.
i think my real entertainment will be hearing the whining of Clan fans when their precious superior tech is not immediately available though. I'll run a Prototype Jenner (the no SRM version) all day long for the heaven that comes from lack of clans and clan tech.

Locust baby all the way. Some medium lasers and maybe small laser or machine guns will so. Or if they do make it available, the wolfhound is my dream mech.

I use them all, heavies/meds are my favorite though. In mw4 I rarely used lights simply because Team Battle was so poorly done to give the ankle bitters a mathematical advantage. Assaults can be fun too. I like them all, and don't cry when someone uses an assault.

epic sig btw ^^

While I love Stalkers and the Zeus, I still prefer mediums like a Bushwacker or a Raijin (hope it becomes available after the Invasion started and the ComGuards become official)
