I'd love to get in a brawler bushwacker once again but it's a 3058 mech so i'll have to stick to Raven and Catapult.

Shadowcat without a doubt is my favorite mech.
I'll fight heavies/assaults in one without a second thought.
There are plenty of pilots I've met who's skill certainly outweighs tonnage disadvantage.

Eh, assaults are overrated. Mediums and Heavies are where the real fun is always at!

I play as Assaults for the same reason I play as the big guys in every game, I just like being a heavily armored unit. Really has nothing to do with a "bigger must be better" mindset. But I really hope they find a way to make all types powerful in their own way. But if I am not in an Assault I love piloting mediums, they can get into and out of a fight fast and can hit with the best of them in said fights.

I much prefer medium and heavy mechs, but the Raven is one of the best lights on the battlefield.

I like assault-mechs, but i would also pilot light-, medium- or heavy-mechs, whether IS- or clan-chassis!

IS: Firestarter, Raven, Centurion, Uziel, Argus, Black Knight, Marauder (if available)
Clan: Firemoth, Puma, Nova, Stormcrow, Hellbringer, Timber Wolf (if available)

The Marauder was always my first love and as such is the one mech I'd really like to pilot in game, though the Archer is another of my long time favourites. I would also be fond of something like a Panther or a Vindicator.

Really, presuming that they can achieve a good balance among the weight classes, it'll be a joy to pilot anything. :)

I'm not a fan of the fact that there's going to be artillery in this game. Hopefully it won't be a huge game changer. I understand that it's used in the novels, but even then it isn't really seen during many of the mech battles.

But that's off topic. I enjoy all sorts of mechs, but for the Inner Sphere I lean towards the lights and mediums. For clans, I enjoy jumping in the occasional heavy, but since we're all gonna be throwing around low-tech IS freeborn crud, you might see me in a Locust when I'm in the scout mission mindset, or an Enfield.

I doubt I will pilot an assualt mech, but if I did, it would probably be less than 90 tonnes. Chances are I will be in a heavy for most of it, although I might mix it up with some fast raiding in a light

I'll have to see the list of available IS Light 'mechs before I say anything there. On mediums and heavies, I'd love to pilot a Centurion, a Jagermech, or a Grasshopper. Until the clanners invade, though, I'll have to do without my commandeered Cauldron-Born.

Depends on the situation; I'll either pilot a Raven to tag you and have my lancemates tear you a new one, or I'll pilot a Grashopper and do it myself! ;D

MAD-5D (Marauder) or FLS-8K (Flashman) have always been good to me.

Clan mechs?.... The only time I want to see a clan mech is when it is in the crosshairs on my HUD ;p

Anyone remember a "little" ghost bear gem called the stone rhino? Low profile mech + 2 x Gauss Rifles.. and jump jets.. massive fun in mech 2: GBL..
