If it's so easy to code it, then why don't you do it? I'd rather it comes out working than it comes out the initial time and is full of bugs. (Then people like you would QQ about that also) I'm always ready to complain about something I don't like in the game (or any game) but really, coding isn't like driving from point a to point b...there can be stops and turns and so forth, you rush coding and you eff it up.

I ordered a pizza the other day. The pizza man told me it would come to my house in about 30min. A week later the pizza man shows up with my pizza, after I call him many times asking where my pizza is. I'm supposed to be happy I got the pizza even if it's a week late because I'm not a pizza man?

Thanks for the update. Oh, might I suggest an eject animation in lieu of 3rd person.

There is a thread specifically for discussing the way 3rd Person View will be implemented. It is here: http://mwomercs.com/...095-3rd-person/

Anyone can feel free to visit that thread to leave suggestions/join discussion about the implementation of 3rd Person View. Please keep in mind that the thread linked is meant for constructive discussion, however, so please try to keep your comments relegated to ways 3PV can be added to the game positively/non intrusively. Also, bear in mind, the Devs have said that you will be able to choose whether to fight 3PV/1PV opponents Your discussion points could use that point as a stepping-stone for further discussion...

Orion was bumped by one cycle (3-4 months). It will be the next Heavy.

Is there any particular reason for this? I'm actually annoyed at this change, because it has the potential to remove the Dragon like how the Victor is effectively replacing the Awesome.

aright, to everyone crying over the Orion, stop being spoiled brats. It's just another set of hardpoints on a 70 tons mech, it's not like it's gonna change the entire game. Just be patient and enjoy what we currently have. Hell, when I joined the beta we only the hunchy, the jennah, the fatlas and the cat and we were happy.

Kids these days...

It's a 60 tonner, so beware Dragons, you might just be replaced. Plus, it has JJs, so it's only going to add to the jump sniping meta.

Considering the post written up by Karl Berg about the malformed packets... clearly, there's always unintended consequences that they've had to deal with.

Hm, none of the new features this month, I had hoped for 12vs12 at least.

Sarah Mech is welcomed, just a nice thing.

Missiles overlooked, jump jet shake; promised and delivered, I like.

3rd. person, (next month), really afraid of this feature, could kill the game for me (only for me, could still be great for others, but I refuse to play my mech warrior 3rd. person).

Quickdraw; really surprised, its a nice mech, could be the missile dragon. Will call it "Paladin" like it is called in ther german version for unknown reasons, because its a much better name

If it can be abused to gain an advantage, you can be sure all the current crybabies who are against it will use it...

QFT. You can bank on that. I'll be done with playing MWO any further as soon as 3PV patch is implemented.

Don't worry guys. 3rd person coming in 60-90 days means that it might be here by January, judging by historical trends in PGI announced deadlines and actual release times.

Unless Sarah's mech happens to be the Orion.. this seems quite typical of the mind boggling messaging you guys are doing at PGI.

Cmon man. The people that read these forums are the ones that care about what you announce. At least respect that much! Everyone else will kinda treat what's announced as a matter of fact, without caring too much one way or another.

So why establish a pattern, show of mechs months and months ahead of time, only to troll us by not providing the expected outcome here?

You guys know you AREN'T writing Game of Thrones here right? There's no reason to make people expect the unexpected; you're not creating intense emotional outcomes by doing bait and switch (ok you are, but not in a good way).

I mean, yeah, it's cool that we're getting a quick draw. But bloody hell, that just means we won't get the Orion for another 4 months!

If you're going to ninja-announce a new 'mech you better come back here and cough up some art or in-engine assets. I was really looking forward to the Orion, but still want to see MWO's take on the Quickdraw.

Nothing AGAINST the Quickdraw...but we've now got 3 60 tonners and no 55 tonners... The Quickdraw is a sort of bigger version of the Trebuchet little I don't see it being terribly popular to tell the truth...

Seeing 3rd person view in the works is very upsetting. Considering everything else that needs to be worked out first.

Only current 60-tonner is the Dragon, so Quickdraw will make it two.

A while back I could have swore I heard that PGI wanted to start releasing 2 mechs a month excluding any hero mechs. Total speculation but I am hoping they found a way to prioritize other tasks to allow them to make 2 mechs a month happen.

Not until after launch.

Quickdraw is a cool surprise, except it would really have been a cool surprise if it was Quickdraw + Orion.

And 3-4 months until the Orion? Really really disappointing, I don't expect you guys to ever increase your release schedule (2 mechs per month + ).

Well that is a kick in the nuts. In all of the threads where people talked about what mechs they wanted to see I'm not sure I ever saw the Quickdraw mentioned, but the Orion was very much desired. This is a low blow with no warning given at all. No announcement and no art yet it gets to jump the line. I have some words for you, but I rather not get banned. :)
