What part of "art release -> next mech" am I reading incorrectly?

Do go on.

What part of "the word month is not present in my post whatsoever" don't you understand?

I really don't want to counter-condescend, but I really don't like it when people put words in my mouth, either.

It's almost like calling off a wedding the day before it occurs, because the caterer made the wrong food.

How in the world is that an analogy for what PGI did and not how the community is reacting?

Definately disappointed the Orion isn't coming out in a few weeks as it was probably the biggest thing drawing me back into playing on a regular basis.

As far as the Quickdraw, I can't see me being interested at. To be honest, the 60 ton range is a horrible weight for a heavy mech. It requires too heavy an engine to be fast while at the same time not having enough weight to arm and armor properly.

In any case there are so many other great mechs out there, I just can't how they could pick the Quickdraw over them but I guess only time will tell if it plays well or not.

3rd person view before Collisions....or hit detection...or even adjusting some of the more egregious hit boxes...

So fail.......firings need to commence. Good thing you guys dont have majority shareholders.

They never promised you the Orion would be there this month. You assumed it was going to be. Your own fault. Live with it.

Actually the Orion was at some point announced as going to be released for June now whether that consitutes a promise of not is up to interpretation.

And if you read what I wrote (and clearly since you can't read what you write this is unlikely), I wrote that you claimed art indicates the next mech.

Then I countered that the flea and victor have all been released as art, and aren't THIS MONTHS (not released in a month, not released in the same month, this month, as in, the next released mech which is a quickdraw).

Then you showed that you can't read, and here we are.

IGP is looking for a sales/marketing analyzer. Given what we have here, the old one needs to be replaced.

I'll respond with a movie scene that popped into my head after I read that. From SG-1 Ark Of Truth, where Daniel saw the villain approach and uttered "Oh GOD..." Villains reply, "Even your God cannot save you now, Daniel Jackson."

Which pretty much sums PGI up: the problem isn't their marketing, they could get God to do taht for them and even God could not save them from the approach PGI uses in coding - that of monkeys banging on keyboards with hammers. Seriously, CryEngine's really pedestrian, ho-hum, and average compared to other engines (and often older ones at that) but it should not be running THIS BADLY - it does so poorly in PGI's hands BECAUSE of PGI's hands. Marketing... even MARKETING can't fix that...

Jager was 14th, Highlander - 17th, Flea - 16th.

Those numbers haven't actualy translated into release order in months.

The announced mechs haven't been released in the order announced in the past, so this entire statement is meaningless

Have we not F*****g beat you over the head, in the face, and broken your spine with the "We don't want third person" rhetoric enough yet?

Seriously, i can go get the bat and hose again....

Quickdraw is a nice suprise though.

Here is what I am saying.

Prior to 00:00, June 4th, 2013, the precedent in place regarding battlemech releases is as follows:

"A battlemech's concept art will be released before the battlemech's launch, and the art does not necessarily have to be released in the same month as the battlemech itself. In addition, the launch-flow of battlemechs will generally follow the order of art release, the Flea being an example of an exception to the rule."

Do you understand what I am saying now? I apologize for not making this clearer before.

Please stop condescending. I'm just as much at fault as you are, and such ill behavior from myself is unnecessary. Again, my apologies.

Sometimes I wonder why I don't come on the forums more often. Then I do, and I'm reminded why.

Re: 3PV - It's been stated that you will have a select-able option to play with or without 3PV players in your matches. So if you don't want to, then don't. Now stop whining about it.

Re: Sarah's Mech - Really? Who could *****? It's not like we're saying we would never give to cancer unless we get a shiny reward, but I mean, Damn, would you honestly be so selfish as to deny this company slightly helping the Cancer cause, even if it is a PR pull? Shut Up. Buy it or don't. Donate or don't. The rest of us will do the same.

Re: Quickdraw - New mech = good. end of story.
Re: No Orion - That sucks, but it is still coming, play the game you have and deal with it. your precious c-bill account isn't going anywhere.

I have no opinion on the rest, so I could care less.
Have a Good day. See you in a month or two when I forget why I don't come onto the forums anymore again.

actually from what I've been researching on the quickdraw it seems to suck, basically a slightly heavier medium that doesn't really fulfill any role solidly enough to be viable, kinda like mediums in general right now come to think of it!

They already fractured the already tiny (Due mostly to the PR and balance nightmare) this game is with the US/EU thing, and now they want to fracture Those into 1PV only/3PV using US&EU

Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure out that's a really dumb idea.

As a heads up, based on Bryan (whether you believe him or not is up to you), he's the ONLY one working on 3rd Person.

Yet some how got it done before just about every major missing feature.

So you'd have to fire Bryan.

Which i'm not totally against mind you. But it won't happen.

But seriously, if he was the ONLY person working on it, how come everything else takes so long with a team doing it?

One person is going to build a residential mailbox.

The team of structural engineers over there, backed up by a team of architects, a geotechnical engineer, and a contractor with his construction crews is going to build a 30 story building.

Despite the personnel difference, I'm betting good money the mailbox is going up first. Third person view wasn't a herculean task boys and girls. It was something that the engine already supported. All the other fixes (DX11 implementation, collisions, etc..); not so much. Not entirely sure how that is a hard concept to grasp really.
