The crosshair shake that throws off your aim is wonderful, but the cockpit shake is horribly unpleasant.
Hell, double the crosshair/aim shake for all I care, but the cockpit shake makes jump jetting awful even when you're not trying to fire.

Yeah... video games never make people sick.

For the record, I dont get motionsickness in reallife either. Its only certain effects in video games that cause it for me. Or I suppose spinning rides at amusement parks... Certain games though ( as mentioned, Dead Island, Space Marine, original Doom and now MWO ) do cause me ( and thousands others ) to get motion sickness.
Hmm. Understood, even still - i feel a lot of folks are merely just saying it because they are sad that jump sniping sucks now.

The rest of the time you basically sound like a childish [Richard].
I do understand and said that it shouldn't affect meds or lights as much and they should work on minimizing it's nausea effect...but some form of this must stay in the game. And call me names if you want but the genuine poptart tears that are being spilled are shiny and beautiful and irresistible!

It just doesn't make sense to me how far out there you guys went with this. There was no middle ground, only what seems like full troll appeasement.
I can't play a game with a shaky reticule, I have chronic headaches and that kind of thing is a big trigger. Can we get at least a module to reduce it? Something? Anything? I would like to be able to play this game again.

If you get motion sick easily.... Why are you playing a piloting/mecha game? Why?
Because we don't get motion sickness / headaches in older MW games and we didn't get them in MWO prior to the last patch perhaps? Just a thought...

1) Cant say that I got motion sickness.
2) Can say that I did get a bit of a headache. I think this is because it is difficult to focus on a target while jumping now so I was straining my eyes.
3) I believe that JJ are still viable for lights and maneuvering in general.
4) I think the "miss" chance caused by jumping and shooting at the same time is spot on.
I do see how this could cause people to become sick, perhaps calm down the cockpit shake but increase the target reticle shake.

The thing is, the majority of people you are trolling, if you read their posts, arent complaining about poptarting being gone. The reticle movement alone vastly curbs the ability of poptarting. The additional visual shake just makes certain of us sick, with no further effect on poptarting.
So frankly, you are trolling the wrong people.

Absolutely...collisions and fall damage need to return as well.

You don't have too...simply stop using jumpjets.

Shake needs to be significantly reduced on the lights at least. I've sunk over $300 into this game I really don't want to walk away now.

less than a handful reported no problems at all, they clearly seem to be the minority here.
I have to imagine a great many of the people that hate poptarts with a passion, dont run jump jets and havent actually seen the result. Even people that arent being made noxious by this change are commenting it gives them a bit of a headache.
Obviously it isn't a problem that effects everyone, but from the responses to date, its obvious that it is a problem.

Jump jets were the only thing that made any Blackjack builds other than the 1x useful. You give up 25km/h for jumpjets! Sadly that is the series of mech I am leveling up now, and I already elited the 1x ( since its the best one ), but now I have to struggle through two crap mechs that depend on jumpjets... without jumpjets!

The shake from jumpjets is much less than being the target of someone using ac2, ac5, uac5 or a combination of. If your getting "motion" sickness now, you were getting it before everytime someone shot at you so calling BS on that.
*edit*
also find it funny every poptart thinks their post deserves its own tread title

Assuming your assertion to be true (which I don't believe, but for the sake of argument I'll let you have it), I call this a good starting point...now let's back it off so that lights and meds are usable but jumpsniping in heavies or assaults is painful.
