You have a 1PV game. Even the drone view is 1PV. And you got plenty of value out of your founders package before they even implemented the drone.

What else can I say? Gameplay may evolve as time goes on? You don't have to queue up with 3PV players? Sheesh, we get it. You're unhappy. Why do you spend so much time trying to tell other people they should be unhappy as well?

So now my last MC on this:

I am disappointed and sad about this "Launch".

But, the HATE I read here all day is to much. The Developers are people, its their job, they go home to families, they do what they are supposed to do and WORK under RESTRICTIONS nobody of you knows.

Just keep complaining, tell them that you are dissatisefuied, give an honest review but stop the bashing of people and the mindless hate it is tireing and most of all, does NOT HELP.

yes we do have to queue up with 3pv players.l.dont drop 12 mans since almost everyone i played with left :rolleyes:

I am so pissed at PGI. No MC sale, mech sale, or anything worth while. What kind of launch is this. As for all the things we were promise so long ago. I still have hope that they will come to be. But tell that day come,I will not be giving PGI anymore money. And I will be playing less and less. 2 game modes that are the same is not a good launch PGI. At least you should of gave us Drop ship mode. And now I hear we wont even get that. Also ghost heat and a charge mechanic for Gauss. WTF man. I have enjoyed what we have, but expected more, at least drop ship mode. Damn.

I love how the "Big Launch" consisted of A general Patch of bug fixes and the Removel of "Beta" from the Game screen! you could say im a little disapointed with this Launch cause Nothing really changed?

Gotta say, I'm guilty of cracking out to this even though I am disappointed. I was hoping there would at least be a big sale or something. Heck even a new mech eye-candy something. Hire some more developers please please please come up with something new and simple. I actually started playing this game about 2-3 weeks ago and I do still have high hopes. I put in way more money than I would for other games because I had/have high hopes and I like the franchise. I don't want to see this game fail but it has a lot of tell-tale signs that I see way too often.

I doubt anyone from PGI/IGP will read or care about what I write but I have to say this: hire more people and get them working on anything new and simple. New maps, new modes, big sales, customization, ...something semi-tangible to keep interest up until you get the base game together. I've worked for plenty of companies as a consultant where the person in charge said, 'this is the deadline, release it even if it isn't ready!" It has always backfired in their faces and causes nothing but pain for everyone. I worked for companies where the clients literally spent tens of millions of dollars in a product just to switch over to something else the year following because they had unrealistic time frames, non-existent metrics, poor communication, and a slew of other issues. The funny part is they went to an inferior product but one that at least was complete but cookie cutter and inflexible.

Please continue to be humble and continue with more communication. Please keep things simple, if you can't release big chunks, keep pushing more tangible little stuff. Hire more people or hell, community development (like maps and modes and such).

it looks like only the founders are the ones really complaining about the game being a complete failure at this point. Must be cause we are the only ones who spent money. The devs delete and censor posts, they don't commit to deadlines and they launch a game, that is not even ready to be launched. There is more content in candy crush at this point then there is in MWO, no offense to anyone here, cause i absolutely love Mechwarrior, i am just a little heart broken by the launch and broken promises.

Those are registered accounts not active players. Registered accounts from one year of open beta. Alot of those accounts are not active.

You should take a course in spin talk.

No other game out there institutes a "dialog" with the fan base. That's professional suicide.


Dialog would be fine for a normal developer. But not for a crowd funded game. Not for a game that accepts money for products not yet available, with promises they do not keep.

The problem is that they want you to pay money on the basis that you'll get what you promised in the future. So if you don't trust them, there's no reason to buy those big fancy founder/phoenix packs.

Also $30 for a mech is kid of ridiculous. I could get an entire different game for that much.

first off...to those who are saying this game to be dead, that its a launch "funeral" if you truely thought this to be the case...why are you still here...go move on to teh games you want to play and leave those of us that LIKE this game alone

second...in the launch trailer it shows the visuals for your mech changing when you swap weapons etc. but in game I see none of that... am I missing something, has this been implemented yet?

Yah.. no founder here and have easily spent as much as your legendary founder package. I believe this to be a fairly unimpressive launch myself. That said the game to me is in a constant state of improvement. i have friends that do still play and am really looking forward to what the next 3 months to year have in store for my giant stompy death robots :rolleyes:

World of Tanks has some $50+ premium tanks in game.... $30 for a mech seems to be around what ppl will honestly pay for these things.... go count how many Lowes are driven in World of Tanks, that sa $60 tank... and they are everywhere....

It's been implemented. It doesn't work for some of the older mechs (they have to be redone), but the newer mechs will show different weapons in the proper slots. The AC2 is a cute little stick, and the gauss... well, you don't want to see a pair of those pointing towards your head.

How many of these 1.3 million "people" (I've seen people on here admit they have separate accounts for forum posting so actual player #'s are somewhat lower) are actually putting money into this game? Are they active? Is there anything like the player counter on Steam where I can verify this data and see trends? Any game can boast good numbers if you go by accounts created; doesn't mean jack if the servers eventually go dead and there's no cash going to the dev's pockets.

Yes, but not for all Mechs. And you can see it in the Game, did you never change the weapon of your Jaeger?
The older Models don't do it.
Read Ask The Devs and such things, there you find this.
