What did everyone think about the Launch Trailer?
Regarding the glowing atlas eyes- I used old footage from my previous videos because I think it looks bad ***.
Regarding the 23 mechs charging down the hill- both teams (The Remnant and Blackstar alliance) charged together on one side.

You know what was best about the glowing eyes? They told me exactly where to aim my pinpoint-accurate, instantly-converging, direct-fire weapons. Just shoot the glowing light on its left side. I guess Atlas pilots didn't like having their cockpit lit up like a christmas tree with a big 'shoot here' light.

Remind me what new feature is in that patch that makes the reduced currency system and loyalty flair useful?

I missed that part altogether, I'm afraid. :)

..could it be that the player is still useless, and not the weapon?

I can still use the gauss just fine, but I do find the mechanic silly. My question though is what exactly is that pic supposed to prove? You had a good game with a mech that may or may not have had a gauss rifle on it. I would like to see a video of such a game. Not because I don't believe you, but rather it would be interesting to watch.

" Based on development cost of $137.5 million (representing a team of 250 people working on the project for five years) and adding projected marketing costs between $69 million and $109.3 million, Bhatia saw GTA V providing huge returns for Take-Two. In the event that GTA V sells "only" 15 million copies"

son, never go full ree-tard.

First, you did NOT answer my question, you redirected so you could continue to shift blame on PGI, when PGI is not involved in my question, you are. If you were a computer support technician, you are smart enough to understand why I asked the question.

Ahh, the answer! Right, and after dealing with up to 75-150 ******** per week, or roughly between 1-2 per hour up to between 3-4 per hour, you're telling me your nerves and your desire to work would not be frayed? Now, let's develop this into a deeper context, specifically for you... you're making $10.00/hour. Now, how long would it take for you to quit?

Gta 1 had more advertising with a small budget.
Hello kitty online had a more advertised launch

unfortunately i do not run fraps or record my games, but i'd be happy to ask soy to if he's around sometime. i've been running that build (2xGR 2xML, 8t GRa) for what seems like a couple of weeks almost exclusively and it does provide a nice return on a different playing style. I don't find it gimmicky, and if anything i'd prefer more variation between weapons done that way, as opposed to pure damage value tweaks. One of the goons - i think it was actually mandaisy - suggested a change for the UAC that involved a number of projectiles based on charge-up mechanic, and i thought it was a pretty great way of differentiating things instead of chance-based mechanics or pure damage values. Anyway, I think more of that sort of thing will come in the future.

as to the performance of the gauss rifle, you're welcome to add me and, being usually either on ngng or ci ts, i'll happily time a drop against you for a demonstration if you'd like!

cheers.

i think these guys are under some bizarre impression that they own battletech/mechwarrior/this actual game/piranha and want to get all Donald Trump at it, like some angry shareholders. except for that minor but relatively important bit that they are not. goon/kong thing is mostly about bullying/frightening pgi into submission (not to the 'community' - at least, not to this one) but its flawed in being a non-credible threat. the only means by which they could seriously hurt PGI are probably questionable from a legal standpoint, and with the feds running around looking for lulsec everywhere, the kind of people who could do that sort of thing probably wouldn't bother with something so paltry that could result in sentences.

so its all tilting at windmills, emotionalising issues, hot air..

Gratulations for launch.
Keep your work going and thanks for a cool game.

To all you haters: Shut the f... up. Create your own game, your comments show that you are all pros of the gaming industry. They let us participate on the development for so long (for free) and all you can do is ***** around. Go and play wow or pokemon.

What's your least favorite movie? And why do you feel qualified to criticize that movie's faults when you have never once directed a feature film yourself?

PREDICTION: Shortly after October 1st PGI will issue a press release showing how big a success launch was, and will use the number of Operation 24 cockpit items given out as statistical evidence of this success.

You just remember that I called it.

Can you use you prophetic wizard powers for this one?
Number of players who played x matches where -
x < 24 = ?
x > 24 = ?
x = 24 = ?
