"We have captured the essence of what it means to be a MechWarrior pilot and we look forward to expanding the MWO universe with exciting new content for many years to come!"
You HAD captured the essence of what it meant to be a Mechwarrior... but then these stupid little drones started flying about and looking round corners...

I could not have said it better myself.

i guess if they earned like 500k and produced this product then i would understand. but if they have raised $5 million upwards then with the same end result then i would believe that the bulk of the money goes to their pockets while leaving maybe 10-20% for development.

In the end, perhaps we'll learn later that it was releasing at the same time than GTA V was deliberate. Think about it: it ensures media are too busy encensing the new game to point out MWO's flaws! Smart move!
Too bad the community is still able to see how PGI fails to impress and fails to deliver.

Please stop telling people to quit playing MWO to create a competing product. It's a terrible position to argue from when you claim to be supporting MWO.

Maybe not the best of all solutions - but both (ignore the Terror Therme) did need some serious work - and were necessary...i really hope that terrain will have more effects in the future - but somewhere you have to start...
before having the higher ground and knowlege of terrain wasn't that important - but now its a important skill and tactic

It's very pretty and full of ooooh and ahhh... but it really doesn't demonstrate any role warfare, tactics, or gadget usage.

That to me was a hell of an intimidation factor. The sight of glowing Atlas eyes through the mist was an awesome sight to see even if they were coming your direction. If we didnt have pinpoint accuracy I would hope cockpit lights could come back.

Indeed. Look around the forums, and it's obvious Community Warfare is Working as Intended™.

And your source is? (Ignore question if, as assumed, the answer is "extraction from a bodily orifice commonly sat upon.")

does anyone think this game or it's dev's have a dependability problem?
Not at all. I'm certain the game will dependably underperform, and the devs will reliably ignore anything except their own pre-conceived notions and will fastidiously sneer at anyone who disagrees with them via Twitter.

I miss the glowing Atlas eyes. Are they back BTW?
Nope, the community member who made that trailer used old, old footage. (PGI couldn't even be bothered to make a trailer for their big huge "launch," see?)

I blame the self-proclaimed "elite" "competitive" players for this.

As if MWO had real competitions.
