Well, except for this little bit of news: "GTA V PSN Pre-Orders Facing Installation And Unlocking Issues".

How's their ghost heat? Do their flamers graphic go as far as their flamers range? MWO did the smart thing and doubled the range on a gun without changing the reach of it's visuals!

and what are the dudes who know the game is probably a 5-7, but are ******** and give it 0s?

Not supporting either argument, just curious? Since apparently, dishonest toxic negativity is acceptable and even a cherished, attribute on Online Forums, but optimism (even naive optimism) is to be reviled and ridiculed?

Gotta say it speaks well to our society.

Don't the shills always talk about being a better breed of human? Constantly talk about how they're above such things?

I mean trolls are trolls, but what's their excuse?

The truth is that the White Knights are no better than your garden variety internet troll but have delusions of grandeur.

And don't kid yourself, there's nothing naive or optimistic about admitting a game only deserves 7 but giving it a 10 to 'stick it' to the trolls.

Note: I'd personally give it a 5/10 if I cared about Metacritic at all.

Cool, so Positive Attitudes are as toxic to society as Negative.

Don't get me wrong, a fool is a fool, but I'd rather be around happy fools than bitter ones. I am not so foolish as to think we will ever be in our perfect "fool free, realistic" society. And most people who claim to be "hyper-realists, are usually just cynics themselves.

Speaking of the meta, has the UAC5 nerf changed anything yet? I kinda expect to be disappointed.

This game is a 5-6 at best. It's featureless, ugly, performs terribly, has no working social components, it's gameplay is stilted and incredibly unbalanced, it's full of badly designed overly complex and fully hidden systems that will never be explained to new players, etc. That said, it's not a virus, and it doesn't have the number of crash bugs as your average 3/10 movie tie in game.

The fact that so few people are giving it the yellow scores it deserves speaks to just how few people outside of the founders community have played this game, and it shows explicitly that the founders are fighting over the IP, not this game.

and yet, here ya still are. Odd.

The dude who ran the titanic into an iceberg was pretty positive about breakin' that record. The workers at Fukishima were pretty positive about their safety. Bush was pretty positive 'bout them WMDs. Sometimes, pretending things are ok when they clearly aren't does harm, and defending people who are mindlessly optimistic just screws everyone over.

Reminds me of D3 on launch. People were pissed about some features and bugs and bombed the game's rating on Metacritic and Amazon.

Is it fair? Its absolutely fair to be upset with the devs for implementing features that the community of players did not want. Its fair to be upset with them because of features that were promised and not implemented. Its fair to be upset with them because of the lack of communication between the devs and the community late in the beta. All of these things had some sort of impact on the final product and because of that, it is fair to take that dissatisfaction and frustration to the review sites.

Welcome to the club, though I suspect you have a line in the sand where some of it does and some of it doesn't. You shouldn't have that line, its all miserable.

haven't dropped yet, but did run them in Training Ground. Do seem very jammy again, so if that translates to in game, expect them to be kinda back to the 1 UAC kinda useless, 2 UAC OK with support weapons, 3 UAC good, scenario they were pre jam-buff and the death of the Snipe Meta.

I guess that's kinda fair... although the cynicism is part of the reaction with respect to the state of the game.

Some of us are still able to let PGI get the benefit of the doubt, until proven otherwise. The problem is that the otherwise part often rears its ugly head.

I've gotten enough practice from PGI "PR" to feel that way. It's sad really. ;)

What positive attitude? Calling a **** a rose is grounds for mental rehabilitation, not a Nobel prize for fostering peace and love.

And I'd just as soon not hang around fools at all. Make no mistake, the people giving MWO 10/10 are most certainly fools more so than the ones giving it 0/10.

One requires anger or hate, the other requires delusions. Anger is transitory, delusions are forever.

No, they're pretty much the same. Both are delusional, and delusion stemming from anger says something about your personality just as much as sycophantic obsession.

Right now there are 15 people who have voted on metacritic and who aren't idiots. They're the ones with yellow scores.

I'm noticing a trend in that all of the low rated scores are detailing why they dislike the game and all of the high rated scores are saying they're just giving it 10's to counter the low ratings.

And they say we have a bias..... ;)

Btw, epic review Helmer.

Yes because comparing attitudes over entertainment properties and IRL scenarios that cost human life are clearly analagous.
*Golf Clap*

Ah to have such 1st World Problems. Dude you guys decry everything on here with such vehemency you would label Eeyore a White Knight.

I was there when that happened. There were some log in issues on opening night and people took the opportunity to punish Blizzard for it. About half of the negative votes it ever received took place within hours of the game's release. Well before anyone could have possibly played through the game and given it an honest review.
