These can be done concurrently and in any order, by the way.

Damage Dealer: Firstly, deal 10,000 damage over the course of the event. Any quickplay or faction warfare match counts. Secondly, destroy three components in a match in five seperate matches. Lastly, Get kill most damage dealt, and the killing blow once

Information: So first one, in five matches, launch a uav and detect an enemy with it. Second, shoot down any two uavs, doesn't hafta be the same match. Lastly, in two seperate matches, be holding a tag laser on an enemy when it dies.

Quickplay: Stick with your lance, if your lance spends some amount of time in proximity, you'll get a 'lance in formation bonus'. Get it twice a map for five maps. Second, and third, kill a mech whilst it's firing on a damaged medium/light friendly. Need one of each.

I understand that team speak was the issue. I was asking for remedies. Mostly since I want to be able to user teamspeak while playing. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling it. Seemed to fix the problems.
It was lag.

Unfortunately, there are only two remedies. Close extraneous programs to minimize the load on the computer... (It's terrifying how many "processes" run on a computer. Try to keep it down to 68 or less; too often windows might try to run over 200 completely worthless processes if not meticulously checked. Also whatever has the highest "CPU" percentage is what's causing problems [beyond the game and TS].)
....or get a better computer (RAM and Processor are the key things here.) Now if it's the kind of lag where enemies teleport but frame by frame everything is smooth, that's an internet connection issue but you haven't described any disconnects.

Roommate reports 2 lams on kit fox does not function on his unit. Either one or the other work but not both. He says the toggle either: switches the active lams or only one goes period, I'm at work so can't visual confirm and it's text ([beep] that. I can do one, but not 2?) Is it something i missed in patch notes due to not caring about lams or possible bug?

All of them should be on or off at the same time. Last I knew, they all would be on or not. So, this would likely be a new bug if only one is active at a given time.

Double check though. The weapon's panel (bottom right screen on your HUD) should tell you what ones are active or not.

Update: stripped all items and armor, saved then rebuilt. Still present. Time to experiment

Test one ( simple): swap one laser ams for normal. Half ton free for testing.
Result: ams works.
Will send in a ticket.

Fix found. Turns out reordering ams ammo fixed it. Putting ams ammo in last them removing everything and readding fixed it as a workaround bu just slapping it In fast like the first two images should hopefully reproduce the bug.

Does target info gathering skill nodes help getting locks faster?
Does sensor range skill nodes help to get through ECM at longer range (while having BAP)
Does weapon range skill nodes move all the dmg brackets of ATMs forward (like 2dmg per missle at over 400meters?)

Answers in same order as questions.

No. They affect only the loadout identification speed.
Yes, with and without probe. Probe increases the range by 200m, and the nodes % value is probably based on the base 800 range, not % of 1000 with probe.
Notice that probe will from fairly close range cancel out ECM completely, it does that even without line of sight. This range is something like 360m I think. This range I don't think is boosted by anything, it's fixed just like the ECM bubble range of 90m.
Yes. The only thing it doesn't extend, is the minium range.

How can I find out what my pilot skill rating is instead of some stupid up or down arrow?

Why is the Search bar totally worthless?

PSR can be viewed on the home screen within your game client (not here). There should be a bar on the middle right that says PSR. When you have filled that bar, you will progress to the next PSR ranking. However, I personally wouldn't worry too much about your PSR. It's simply just a means to help find better matches for you, and by no means actually says anything about you.

As far as what you see for up or down arrows, that's just shown at the end of match results. It's indicating on if you earned or lost some PSR points. It's not important overall, unless you want to make it important to yourself.

The search feature for the forums has always been hard to use. It doesn't sort by relevancy nor at least by order of date created (newest to oldest). If you have any quick questions though, feel free to ask here anytime you want. I'd recommend bookmarking this page and maybe even follow this thread if you want to see answers to questions you may not have thought about asking previously.

We even do answer some more complex questions. Just, avoid mech building advice questions here... That's far outside anything quick and often will come with a lot of opinion based answers... Best to ask that in it's own thread.

There's a stats function that can be viewed through the web portal (profile) as well as from the game's main menu (i think). That potentially contains more useful information (depending on how you interpret it and use it)

Another ATM-related question
On my ATM maddog skill tree, I have a notification that some of the nodes I picked have no impact on my current loadout. I have ATMs, er-smalls and a fullsize CAP.
I have no idea what node can that be and why.

My sensor tree looks like that: https://kitlaan.gitl...ensor%20Systems
(still grinding this mech)

What about the rest of the skills you have?

I ask this because, as far as I can see, none of those skills should be unrelated to any mech, no matter what it has.

Normally, when I get that message, it's often because I've taken a UAV/consumable skill and I don't have the consumable on my mech (yet). Rarely it might happen because I have accidentally gotten an AMS overload selected or some other similar skill by accident.

on the home screen there is a skill bar telling you your current tier as well as the progress you have towards the next.

if you do not see that check settings, it is possible you have ticked the option "hide tier in front end" (that wording may not be exact)

but as you have already been advised, the sole function of tier is improve your chances of being matched up against people of simular skill, so I would not worry about it.

OK, I'm dumb, it's just a generic notification by the skill tree that there are nodes available that are not compatible (ECM ones obviously), not that I've selected incompatible ones... I either didn't notice those warnings before or outright forgot about their existence.

This is what I get for ceasing to fil nodes automatically and starting to (over) analyze the (new) weapon system and how to skill it up.

I would have to say it was more so confusion on what was it was saying, more than your intelligence level. It's all still relatively new to all of us. Many are still confused about how things work exactly. So it's well more than reasonable. I thought you had a fair question.

The only dumb question you can ask, is asking a question on something you already know. Otherwise, there are no dumb questions.

If you've taken a node that you, currently, have absolutely no use for, you will get a pop up warning when you click apply changes (for example, if your mech currently does not mount AMS, but you want to unlock the node because you are contemplating loadout changes, and have too many SP anyway.... likewise for various ballistic weapons/weapons loadouts in general)

You'll always get a triangle icon notif in the upper left corner of a category if that tree has nodes that are currently of no use to you (for example, mechs with no jump jets and the jump jet tree... mechs that CAN mount ballistics but currently have none mounted and the weapons tree, etc.)
