In terms of LOL,as you said a round lasts 15min-1h...I´m a little bit limited on time,so i was´nt sure if that would be a
good idea,cause i often need a break. I did´nt found the the time yet to give it a try.

I get your point,and you are right with that,it is imbalanced. But sometimes you got matches,where you are in a 1 on 1,and you are a able to break a superior opponent.

Aye the change to 12vs12 was´nt to the worse imo.
I started in august,this year,and the 8vs8 matches were a little bit like hide and seek,especialy on huge maps,like TT or Alpine. But sometimes they had their own charm. For example,on a conquest you were
able to go alone for a cap,with low chances to get roflstomped by a blobmonsterball of enemy mechs.
