Sorry, I have to call you out on this.
Limited Availability does not have to be defined for us to see. Stores all around the globe use this term, in conjunction with "While Supplies Last". While the latter doesn't apply here, but the former just means, they aren't going to make it unlimited supply. They don't need to tell you how many they are releasing, they just need to tell you that it can run out.
When you see a TV add for a certain product, and it says "Hurry, order now! Limited Availability!" They don't say "We have 20,231 units in stock."
Also, this whole arguing about the gold mechs... DOESN'T MATTER! If you're not gonna buy it, why worry about it? If you are going to buy it, I'm glad that you have that much money to burn, lol. I don't have the money, or the will to buy a Gold plated mech.
