As you can see despite the nerfs ppc's seem to be just as popular.
What does ever1 think about adding the gauss charge mechanic onto the ppc also?

Add .5-1 second screen/reticule shake after turning off JJ's and you'll see a lot less PPCpoptart use, along with PPC use in general.
PPC's are fine...except when getting cover vertically in assault mechs > the rest of the game.

Aside from that, no heat JJs let you jump without any regard for heat, and focusing fire will kill people with MGs or SRMs, let alone decent weapon systems.

That said it should hold for longer then the gause does, then again I feel the gause one should hold for longer as well.
That said I can feel the rage now if they were were to do it.

sadly this doesnt seem to be popular, for god knows what reason. Everyone seems to be fixated on JJ op when they dont realize how quickly they die in close.
When you take away or at least make it harder to jump snipe the weapon itself is fairly balanced.

I'd much prefer a mechanic added similar to modified splash damage.
Say at the PPC max effective range... it is pinpoint to one panel. The closer you get to 90 meters, however, the more the PPCs deconverge or spread out to the point at say 100 meters, they damage 4 or 5 panels in a shot.
Of course, that means the damage of 10 pts would be spread around to total 10 in whole.
