This might be a bit picky, but having to hit 4 buttons to exit the game is ludicrous.

When your in the mech lab. The mech picture should show what's loaded inside your mech. Building your mech has become painful.I personally feel building your mech in the game should be easy like using smurfy. Also I feel it should be possible to import builds from smurfy. If you guys need help with the codeing. Send me the source code.I will join you and help fix the ui.

Stretched appearance of mechlab in full screen view vs. windowed view. This is really annoying...the mech models look fantabulous when it's windowed, but when I hit alt+enter to see the full screen, it's stretched and distorted.

We didn't realize how good the original UI was until they released this mess. The first UI was easy to use and efficient. It's as if they want to frustrate people to the point that they go elsewhere. Even though I have 30 days of active premium time I can't bring myself to play this game until something major happens to get the game back to where it used to be. UI.2: careful what you wish for you just might get it.

I discovered this is caused by the video settings being set to "Full Window" by default and not "Fullscreen". The latter fixes all the distortion issues. Why the heck they set the former as default and not the latter is beyond me. But then, half the execution of this interface is beyond me :)

My Social tab takes 60+ seconds to load in between every single game. This is happening to a lot of players. We think the issue is that a lot of us have 90+ mechs and 1000+ friends on our list. It doesn't happen on a fresh account with no mechs and no friends. This is a major issue and has caused a few people to leave this game already because it really is extremely annoying.

You know guys what will happen? You just have to compare the forums and twitter.

All good ideas and also criticism happens here, and, judging by experience, will be ignored.
Whereas on Twitter the devs are happily retweeting those precious few "ooooohhh, we loooooove your work" tweets.

Don't want to sound harsh, I've invested far more money here than I'll ever admit publicly. I enjoy stomping. But I've finally lost faith. I also work in the software industry, and judging by this UI after 1 year delay, the product has failed completely now.

I'll keep this account, playing forum warrior from time to time - I'll bet though, that nobody relevant will ever post their reply to our criticism. They get nice tweets, though, that matters.

Taken from a popular story (German language), I gather they'll be singing something like "Ich mach mir die Welt, widdewidde, wie sie mir gefällt...".

The only people that are saying that the love it is the Devs themselfs useing fake accounts no one else in the right mind would like this pile of shit game or ui 2.0

just a question ... how do I get the lab to not rearrange the components... ie I have 2 missle hard points( a 20, and a 10 tube ) ... I have one lrm 15 and one SSRM 2 . when I save it no matter what I do... it moves the lrm 15 to a 10 tube slot and the ssrm 2 to the 20 slot. How do you stop it from doing that??

Anyone figure this out yet? Note the first time I configured and saved it did not do that.

Thanks for any help you can offer

UI2.0 is a solid step backwards in usability.

It takes longer to do everything, from kitting out a mech to logging out of the game (4 clicks!!!).

Even the settings, which I used to change on a per-match basis (gamma, brightness, arm lock, etc) take much long to accomplish.

I would dearly love to have an option to return to old UI.

I find myself playing less because I don't want to deal with UI 2.0. It feels like a bad console port.

Well i heard they are going to try to make this for the xbox one so maybe they are testing it on pc users before going to xbox one and have given up on pc people. Or they just dont care.

Go and hire the people who made Smurfy's Mechlab and pay them to fix your UI. That option cannot possibly cost you guys more money than the cost of the time and resources that you put into UI 2.0.

I hope not, but it sure seems possible when looking at UI2.0. It might also account for the very slow development... everyone working on port instead of CW.

We'll see I guess.

Would it be possible to add a CANCEL button when it's searching for a match? It takes about 20 seconds to find a match and sometimes after clicking PLAY NOW I realize I forgot to reload Artillry so if I could cancel the (long) search it would be welcome.

I'm going to sum up all of my problems with the mechlab in U.I. 2.0 in as little words as possible.

Too much dropdown lists

The UI works better as an encycopedia than a mechlab. I have to read nearly everything to understand what it is. Very little visual cues. Some of the menu systems work, like filtering light, medium, and heavy mechs in your mech lab, but it gets to be too much when it is carried over to everything.

Smurfy is an example of how it should be done. Anything to gravitate the UI in that direction is a step in the right direction.

Seems overly complex, and got rid of many features we are used to and enjoyed. The menu being a window and game match full screen was one of my favorite things. Also the mech lab is so confusing now, and nothing is really labeled on mechs anymore for their load out. Some stuff is nice, but seems like it was at the expense of the features I enjoyed.

UI 2.0 is here! But I wish it wasn't. Ok, so it removes a bottleneck, great. But, I just don't want to spend any more time in that, thing.

1) Firstly, the selected Mech is plagued with overbright. It's the Imperial city in Oblivion all over again. How this managed to make it past initial testing, and then past public testing, is simply beyond my ken. When looking at your Mech, is the equivalent of looking at the sun, why do developers still do this? Is it not supposed to be a platform for selling digital candy? Why on earth then, would it be made difficult or painful to look at?

2) The ability to customise your Mech has gone right down the tube. Not being able to see what's equiped on the entirety of your Mech is one hell of a loss, and quite simply, it is just too difficult to customise your Mech this way. Yet that is irrelevant when it's overshadowed by the gynormous pane of equipable items. It looks like an xbox interface, where you would use a controller and not a mouse, and that's not a good thing.

3) As many have also experienced, I too, spent far too long trying to save my Mech configuration. Yet not exclusive to saving your configuration, but many other things are either jarring or very difficult to accomplish. The ease of use within many aspects of the interface, is just very poor.

There are other gripes I won't go on about. Such as the loss of very useful features, which I took for granted at the time. Double clicking to equip and unequip items, pinned Mechs on the home page.

All in all, I'm afraid I can only view this as a blunder.

I would like to be able to re-size my window in windowed mode. That is the only major bugbear have with it at the moment.
