Takeaways being that the concept is nice, of having the external generators. However, they are far too easily destroyed. If they had, say, double their HP, it would be better. Further, as long as the defenders respawn as fast as they do, there is very little sense in fighting them. Right now if you fight them, you take time and accrue damage to kill them, only for them to quickly respawn right in the middle of the fight, totally resetting the engagement in their favor. 30 seconds is just not enough of a window.
My overall suggested improvements? Remove defender dropships, replace with Hangers with laser turrets on them. Defenders spawn in 60 second intervals, not 30. HP on all generators increased to double of current. Idea being you cannot burst down the generators as easily and destroying a defender puts them out of the fight for a significant period of time, meaning it makes more sense to engage them in order to give yourself a little more time to damage the base itself. Is it a perfect solution? Probably not, but it feels like a step in the right direction.
And, yes, I had trouble locating the main gun's gen at the very end. >_> Was not sure what to shoot at. Ended up thinking "screw it" and protected Kanajashi's Mad Dog since he was ripping it apart.

I still hate this 24 hour attack phase they implemented.. I would've rather have a phase at every 6 hours, but thats my opinion. So at this moment im not going to be all about CW like i used to. Cause practically theres no point to doing anything till nearly the end of the current phase cycle.

Might make the task of the last part all the easier with the appropriate buffers in place, at least helping to consolodate on any assumed success. Wouldn't want to miss that momentum to Terra being broken by lack of concentration now would we?

Heh, im only sore about this particular thing. Otherwise Lord Khan is always on the prowl whether political or being a man and kicking IS teeth in.
lol of course you can be relaxed cause you have all the time in the world to undo any progress. I prefer the challenge but Defending was made easy mode.
I m all about the conquest but really, theres not really much of a point during the 24 attack cycle untill lets say 5 hours left but so much time in between is practically wasted.Then all you have to do then is gather enough 12 mans and bum rush a planet.

So this explains perhaps why without applying these principles CGB space lost at least one planet last night, maybe not something that would be a problem if as you say we have the representation effect to achieve aims?
So as a result where are all the CNC planets?

CNCI not having a faction of its own is pretty much help attack while defending our other clansmen. I myself have lead a couple of good fights pre implementation of the 24 hour cycle.
but alot has to do with the que times sucking.

efforts havent been misplaced at all. All i have to do is be on 5 +ish hours before the ceasefire and just attack a planet.
