When I looked into the "mechwarrior 5" team, I found a company that had an extremely mediocre metacritic average, handling mostly generic ports, and mechwarrior 5 actually looked awful. Console aimed, UAVs, distorted looking classic mechs etc.

They want me to pay 120 dollars for "exclusive" content for a game under strict NDA that is advertised as F2P from an unremarkable company with a mediocre track run. Not only this but once the game is in any way playable, this option will be removed.
This sounds entirely like a money grab, "pay us money based on hype and IP name". Now I understand it's smart to do this, but money grabs like this lead me to believe this will become the norm, "Pay to win, pay for advantages etc". I'm gonna be skipping this game looks like and I just want to warn you all to take off your rose tinted glasses and look at the precedent set by this founders package. This is a "player vs player" game too. Now It's your money, and you can do with it what you want, but I think I just expect more from a developer I want to trust in the least. Loading up a "pay us 120 dollars now or lose out" seems to be milking the die hard fans, instead of making them happy.
Anyway I understand none of you will likely agree in any way with this, but I want some proof the game is in any way a good complete experience before they give a time limited "Jump in now or miss out" offer.
It seems like exploiting the longtime diehard fans enthuisasm rather than delivering anything worthwhile to them. This definitely is a huge negative for me. I never remember paying more than 50 dollars for any other mech game, heck the boardgame box sets costed less, the most I spent was on minis which was optional. What do you all see that I dont?
