i'm probably in the minority since i don't care too much for the Clans in the first place, but i'm finding the IS mechs all got a big upgrade in looks over the originals, while all the Clan mechs got a downgrade

I don't get what people are complaining about. The semi-circular cockpit is the original cockpit of the summoner. Not the rectangular one. Check the TRO art.
Notice the semi-circular cockpit?
It's a bit taller than it should, but that's it.

Its fully closed from a top - not so "steamlined" , the frontal windshield is vertical at the same line as the front armor give you great FOV - but at Warhawk and Summoner the windshield is placed at such angle that create the impression for GREAT FOV TOWARDS THE SKY .

I think it's a very accurate representation of the design.

Agree with you it's very well done! Like it, wonder how it would look like with some bling bling!

This is one of the best looking mech designs imo. Hardly touched the mech in mw2 though, i liked laser/pin-point more and stuck to the stormcrow.

The Daishi will be last, next up will most likely be the medium and lights. Just like in the previous 4 clan mechs. (I don't know, but it makes the most sense by far.)
The Daishi will be only the second 100 ton mech in the game, it's a major selling point, and they'll want it closest to final release in order to excite more people.Just consider you're own excitement at the Daishi..Yup, it will be last.

Aren't they supposed to go a little bit fast than that? Like, say 86.4 kph? I'm not making this up btw (see for yourself). Before I saw this, I just thought the Timberwolf top speed discrepancy was due to lack of coffee. Not anymore.

Did you calculate speed tweak?

The Sarna speed is not a good translation for MWO speed in this case. Only because the Sarna speed is a rounded speed, as the actual speed in table top falls between hex distances, and so by default rounds it up. MWO has no need to round up the speed, so we get the speed we have. You can see the same resolution in the Dragon. Stock speed is slower than Sarna because the table top values had to be rounded up for table top but there is no need for it in MWO.

The speed listed on the clan mech purchase page are correct, using the actual calculation for engine rating:tonnage=speed. This is the same speed you will get in MWO using any mech the same weight and using the same engine rating.
The slightly higher TT speed is due to calculating based on hexes and requires rounding the speed up (since you cannot move a fraction of a hex in TT)

Some Clan mechs have CT weapon hardpoints that are not fixed. There's also the "skill tree" consideration. I know, it's silly.
But if you're not doing the skill tree, you're not sinking your cbills and getting premium time.
>.>; Though if Clan mechs had full cost... that'd be more than most spend on three of their I.S. mechs.

Haha. Seriously where did you dig these up?
BTT: PGI pretty much nailed it with the Summoner. It just looks gorgeous. It's my favourite Clan mech so far with the Stromcrow being a close second. And I'm usually not a fan of the Clan mech designs at all. I can't understand why everyone's drooling all over the place because of the Adder or Warhawk. Those two are ugly as hell (which isn't PGI's fault. Adder and Warhawk have always been ugly, no matter if you look at the TT miniatures or other video game incarnations.)
Sarna. Faction (true) name then Military then Uniforms. Every uniform that says Mechwarrior.
At least the Technicians look incredibly respectable. Not the orange Deus Ex style jumpsuits the MWO tech model (which has never been used outside of the CG youtube vids) has.

To be fair, many Clan mechwarriors are utilizing full body cooling suits. The cooling vest IS pilots tend to use is because somehow making the fabric and associated cooling pipes cover the legs and arms is LosTech. Yeah, whatever logic. Whatever. Handwavium.
But, yeah. Clan cooling suits do come in the full body variety. Clan Neuro Helmets are also significantly smaller. I do not have a picture off hand of a Clan Neuro Helmet, but we are probably talking something around as big as:
IE: Not very large compared to the IS models.
This is, of course, ignoring Enhanced Imaging, which is a wireless connection to implants in the pilot's skull, however this tech was basically unused until Protomechs due to the insanity it would cause in the users over time.
Hey, least they are not D.N.I.s. All the fun of Enhanced Imaging except with actual, physical brain rot, lesions, and other goodies.

Look, I'm not suggesting to stick with a rounding error for the sake of Clan Mechs, but for the sake of fairness and continuity in regards to their implementation. Denying them reactor upgrades is an understandable balancing measure, but cutting their top speed due to a long standing/accepted rounding error is just petty and spiteful.
Insisting on this to be the way to go, you might as well ask to rewrite all canon material. This rounding error is present in all novels and sources I have seen so far and nobody complained or felt cheated because it was beneficial for all sides involved, be it the Clans or the IS. This is not the case anymore if PGI goes ahead with this mathematically correct solution, which is complicated by other nerfs that PGI saw fit to heap on the Clans.
So, for the sake of continuity, please don't be **** about rounding errors that are beneficial for all sides. Thank you.

I think looking at the specs and configurations is more than enough justification to buy the second most notorious mech in the game
