Why?
1. It's easy to take care of.
2. You don't have to listen to anyone.
3. The players who run it solely tend to be the people who will pay money to stay dominant. They're the ones shelling out money with each content patch that keeps poptarts supreme.

nope. Because my in game matches were just as pathetic. I did not have afterburner running, sadly, because I was too happy to be IN game, finally to remember to turn it on.
Running the same mech, same build. 2 matches (only 2 I actually was able to find matches for, after 10+ minute waits, each time) i laid out all of 166 damage... after literally emptying my missile bins. 4 tons lrms, 1 ton ssrms. hit at least 50% with my LRMs, and 75% with SSRMs. Second match pretty similar, except I have a few rounds of SSRM left when I die. 165 damage. At least 200 lower than a similar build was laying out a week ago.

might have been. regardless, they were hitting. and with the power of spitwads. burn through 4 tons of LRMs and land 165 damage...... simply not acceptable. Not my job to diagnose the "whys".
