Everyone, keep an eye on the dates of all the LRM whining posts (past and future). Note how much of the whining has continued unaltered since the servers went back up.

I had a match where things were strange with SRMs and LRMs but it could have just been in my mind. I'm going to take out my LRM boat to find out myself, there was enough noise about something being wrong online, both here and Facebook, but I trust PGI when they say they didn't touch it. I wish they'd say it here and not just on Twitter.

I CANNOT believe this level of nerfing is in response to complaints on missiles. A tweak? Sure. This? No way!

Pretty sure they just messed up some HSR code somewhere to do this and not an intended nerf.

Did they say they didn't touch it?

If so, it could be another issue of the training grounds code being different from the code for regular matches.

This lovely gem sort of backs up my theory that PGI wants the AC/PPC poptart meta.

Why?

1. It's easy to take care of.
2. You don't have to listen to anyone.
3. The players who run it solely tend to be the people who will pay money to stay dominant. They're the ones shelling out money with each content patch that keeps poptarts supreme.

Yeah before this patch life as a lrm user was extremely rough (assuming your opposing team didn't have the collective IQ of a gold fish) , Now its simply impossible.

nope. Because my in game matches were just as pathetic. I did not have afterburner running, sadly, because I was too happy to be IN game, finally to remember to turn it on.

Running the same mech, same build. 2 matches (only 2 I actually was able to find matches for, after 10+ minute waits, each time) i laid out all of 166 damage... after literally emptying my missile bins. 4 tons lrms, 1 ton ssrms. hit at least 50% with my LRMs, and 75% with SSRMs. Second match pretty similar, except I have a few rounds of SSRM left when I die. 165 damage. At least 200 lower than a similar build was laying out a week ago.

I am sure someone else has said this but I will say it too. Irony. Releasing a new Hero dependant on missles and gimping it's damage. It should have been April 1st!

Now instead of whining and acting like ******** let's talk about it. What I've noticed is that the missiles spread more. Anyone have the same experience?

watch the videos. Spread was certainly not the issue. taking more than twice their total health in damage, and not dying is.

What makes me tear my hair out about this whole thing is that even if I'm dead wrong and it's a bug, it will still take the devs forever to fix it because they only send out patches on certain Tuesdays.

So much for my Founderspult with "upgraded stock" loadout.

Not whining I logged out after game after game trying to perform unable to , lrms were bad before this patch, now there god awful I'll log in daily to see if they're fixed until they are I wont stay logged in.

might have been. regardless, they were hitting. and with the power of spitwads. burn through 4 tons of LRMs and land 165 damage...... simply not acceptable. Not my job to diagnose the "whys". This ain't a Beta anymore, so I am no longer a BetaTester. Information on my part was forwarded to the Devs. Up to them to do their job and fix it now.
