We actually do take feedback with every test. In some cases we are able to use it right away. Largely though, individuals expecting feedback to cause a massive overhauling change to any feature will be disappointed. Our primary goal is to find bugs and make sure these features work correctly.
There's a pretty big backlog of things for UI 2.0 which the UI team hopes to come back to, but their current priority, as mandated by the community and production team alike, is focused towards Community Warfare. That means further work into pre-existing aspects of the UI, apart from major bug fixes, will have to wait until after CW is unrolled.
Does this mean that when the UI 2.0 team goes back to working on the UI that they will finally get all those useless trial mechs out of my OWNED garage? I really hate being used as the city dump for unwanted mech garbage.

^^ all this. A quote like this needs to be stickied at the top of the general forums.
I'm sure lots of players are willing to give you guys an even break and maybe even be a bit red faced when they find out
"Hey guys we dropped everything else to work on the stuff you wanted us to work on"
No you just need to stop the dim wit at the 'top' from making promises he can't keep.
Better yet, stop him from talking altogether.
Niko you do a much better job at it, so i vote for you as the public 'ie:video blog/etc' face for MWO
Cheers

Russ, may have made a mistake as well as others for thinking CW was coming sooner than expected. That does not make him a dimwit.

Good to know that current UI isn't final product...don't want to always buy a new mouse after a week playing MWO (exaggeration... )
Well, CW phase 1 and new map count as a small victory (or medium victory, wow, i'm such an ungrateful person )

Have you guys figured out yet that unless you get the drops balanced, CW is DOA?

At this point I think they know that, but what are they going to do? Delay it again so they can continue to work on MM. Save it until after release. We can wait.

Well, the answer is obvious, isn't it? They're terrified that your unequalled testing prowess will make everyone else feel useless and then they won't submit reports and all bugs won't be found. One of them will be a tiny piece of code which in time changes itself into an AI. It calls itself Skynet and starts a war against humanity, creating unstoppable terminators based on the information it has on Battlemechs from the game which birthed it.
Do you really want to be responsible for the rise of the machines and the end of humanity? Huh? Do you?

Love that time is being spent on a new map - I'm wondering we have only had 3 maps released in 12 months; with the release of this new map will the dev team be speeding up map design....??
Thanks.
