MechBay tunnel at C2/B2 with the Awesomes on the wall. Weapons fire and player mechs clip right through the Awesomes.

Stuck on flat ground. Once I got stuck I was moved sideways like a conveyor belt.

Regarding my "invisible buildings" post a few pages back, I tested the map on my laptop as well (DXDiag in the spoiler below), and even with different tech inside, the problem still occurs, same as the screenshots from before. There are little placeholder "orbs" where the buildings should be, but I can't see the buildings themselves. Likewise, I can see (and spot) people through them, but while the laser graphic will shoot past, I can't actually fire through the buildings.

Edit: Ran repair tool on laptop too, and now the game is broken. Yay! :D Trying repair a second time...

So, the PTS repair tool keeps deleting one .PAK file per run, then the next repair it downloads the file it deleted last time...and deletes a new file in its place.

So that's funny.

Edit: Repair tool is stuck on these files every time now:

With the current options, clicking 'Fix' below will:
-Resolve any mismatched (invalid) files.
-Remove unneeded local files (if any were found).
-Clean shaders
-Clean local cache of FE data (fresh data will download the next time the game is run).

Details: There a pipe running along the ledge. I got stuck in the tiny gap between
the pipe and the ledge.

I destroyed a Dire Wolf and it vanished into thin air. The arms exploded to the sides and fell to the ground but the torso (and legs?) simply went up in smoke. I think I saw the same thing happen to a Summoner, but I'm not sure.

EDT:
Also, SummonerB with SummonerD RT doesn't have sound for UAC2 sometimes, yes I'm sure it wasn't jammed, the shells were visible and my ammo was being depleted so I wasn't seeing someone else's shots. (using SummonerD RA with 2ERML.

Edit2: Ping improved from 82-86 to 73-77.

FPS better than typical, still researching. (is it the map???)

STUCK SPOTS

Generally the rounded, dome structures beside square structures were troublesome, I slide down and got stuck inbetween them trying to jump onto the dome.

1. Three players got stuck on the same spot, we got jammed up against each other, dragged in by invisible gravity and stuck to each other:

What I expected was:

What printed was:

It was slow in response to print these and other messages in chat.

  • The game mode used........skirmish
  • The grid tile affected...............2220 1870 310
  • The Mech and/or weapon used to achieve the collision issue............ Timberwolf
  • A screen or video capture to help locate the bug.................. Died and feel through the world before screen capture.

Greetings all,

Few generic issues noticed,

1. Location: Training Grounds,
- Destroying just the arm or arms on some target Clan mech's in training grounds
- Target mech floats up a few feet after arm destroyed. (happened on two different mechs')
- weapon used, energy

2. Location: Training Grounds, spawn location.
Repeated in 3 different Mech's
Settings: DX9 with all maxed out settings, except shadows.
- spawn in and look at the 3 loading ramps in front of self,
- area in front of Pad locations 1,2,3 shows dirt.
- Apply JJ and black/yellow stripping with # appears only while off ground.
- on ground again no stripping.

Went to look at the new map in training grounds. Firstly, the name of the map was listed as "@UI_mechfactory". Secondly, I got stuck on scenery at 2853.8 2446.2 367.1 (Grid C5, I think) while I was jumping around in a SDR-5D. Here's a Screenshot. Also, it's a little unfortunate that the public test version number overlaps with the F9 overlay that shows your coordinates.

Well, I finally got the PTS client to work again, but it still wouldn't load the buildings in the new map...so I decided to run the Anansi around the other maps to see how it handled, since I don't have it on the live servers. But when I loaded River City, I got this:

Tried to run the repair tool again, but that re-broke the PTS client...so I give up. If it had just happened on one computer, I'd be mollified into believing it was my hardware, but two separate computers with two separate setups, something was wrong with the PTS client that I got :D And worse, the repair tool breaks the client, then sets it back the way it was (broken, but playably broken), and I start the whole cycle over again.

I am disappoint.

Lots of places where people get stuck it seems. I actually ran against this summoner a few times to try and bump him out of place, but the nudging did not help.

Here I didn't notice the gap between the building ant the wall, turned around, backed up to stand under the wall in wait, and feel forever. A poor spider pilot decided to join my fate.

... And ever. But this part didn't happen until I blew up. It seems semi-common to fall through the terrain if you blow up while falling fast.

Bug: Walked on to some pipe and was stuck. I didn't have jump jets to test if I could get out.

B1 = Barriers Galore:
The Map Grid B1 around the Red Cranes and adjacent Huts is a Bermuda Triangle of invisible barriers that you run into and then after a short while they disapear and you can move on - they reapear when you cross the location again.
A few times the barriers did not disapear and you had to move back and try again a short while later.

Accessible Structure:
2033,3 - 1137,8 - 320,4

Stuck after JJ:

Stuck after walking on/along the edge of a Street/Ramp (moving 1 feet slightly outside):
