Direwhale: You're a *******. If you get smacked by a dual gauss dire whale, you deserve it.
Timber: Better uses than a Dgauss.
Judging by your problems with Dire Whales, I'd imagine your problem isn't Dgauss, it's standing still and getting shot repeatedly. Fix that, instead.
EDIT: I've never actually see a Dgauss Timber.

We should make all weapons so they can only fire one at a time, and maybe we should also make weapons only fire once every ten sec?

The only thing the charge time did was make it more annoying to use so that the only people who use it are dual Gauss users

Dual Gauss is a pain, but I just don't see a good way around it.
I think we have to live with it.
P.S. A single gauss is not useless. A long range weapon that does 15 damage is far from useless (charge mechanic or not). I have bo problem running single gauss builds and I enjoy a lot of good play with them. Don't discount it. Just saying.

That's still not true.
Low graphical settings often see the opponent first due to lack of foliage and the fact terrain doesn't always load. Which can be problematic.

Have a look at the videos from league games and streams from competative players, Gauss is defintely not dominating the meta-game. I feel it is pretty much in line where it should be.
just my 2cent's for feeding a possible troll?

double goose has been around since the K2 started existing, and back then they looked like little machine guns. Do you know what pgi did then? they gave the K2 proper ballistics models including gauss, so there's your answer. The tears are delicious by the way. git gud.

Yea now imagine those gauss without the charge-up mechanics... That is how it used to be.
The Gauss of today is a tame kitten by comparison.
Triple Gauss Ilya with no charge mechanic. Mmmmmmm
Seems like anyone complains about dual-anything-above-10-damage these days. Dual AC20 or Gauss will usually always have an XL engine. Hit the side torso and you're good to go. Don't stand in the open. Those are probably the only weapons those mechs have.

Remember how there was talk about PPCs disrupting systems if you were hit? Imagine if, you were hit by a PPC while charging a gauss shot, it resets the gauss charge timer
It would make the Awesomes not nearly as affraid of the Direwhales.
MUhhhahahahaha. Such an evil thought
