Despite that, my first MW game was still MW2:Mercs due to a lack of a decent computer when I was younger, then MW4, and then began the obsession with the TT. Though I've never actually played TT physically with another person because BT is a franchise sadly under represented within my age group.
You think you're the youngest? I'm 15.
That's right. I've no shame in this.
Mw4 got me into Mechwarrior, then from it I learned of Battletech. I play Megamek TT against bots every once and a while, but it's hard to find friends among my age group into DnD and Wargames to actually play with me.

Well a lot of the older guys have many years head start on young dudes. Some of us old farts have been gaming for 30+ years so there's that.

Started with reading the Gray Death trilogy sometime in the early 90s, then first game was MW2 Mercs.
God I loved that game. Especially how lax the customisation was and how you could use bugs to create ridiculous builds.

MWO is also my favorite iteraton of the game, both in looks and feel. Never played MW:LL as It didnt feel like a sanctioned MW title to me.
Got some table top mini's when I was in mddle school painted them up and enjoyed them, but never actually got any rules to play the game.
Mini's were a random mix of ones I enjoyed from MW3 and ones I thought looked cool
Avatar
Viking
Battle Cobra
Bushwhacker
Nova, strange mix looking back on them lol.

Well I guess times haven't change much than... I used to always have a hard time getting much more than just a few friends that lived around me or went to school with me to play much of anything. I used to try to get a few of them that did to play Hero Quest, or Advanced Hero Quest... and well, they just didn't have the attention span to even really grasp those simple games. Forget DnD or Shadow Run... or much anything else. lol. I did have a group of friends that I grew up with before I moved to Hillsdale Mi, from Elkhart IN, there was about six of us that was into BT TT, warhammer 40K, DnD, but friends like that was rare. We wasn't really considered normal... one of my friends dad's gave him a WWII armored ambulance for his freshmen year, and he drove it all the time for about a year and a half till his dad bought him a new 5.0 mustang. Most of us hung out with adults that was 4-20 years older than us and didn't have many friends our own age or younger.
Of course I had many friends that lived hours away or out of state that were my fathers gaming buddies sons and even more rare, daughters. Funny no matter how much things change or time goes by, many times its all the same.
