33 here. Almost started with mw2 DOS but it stalled while installing on our brand new windows 95 gateway computer and my mother freaked out and wouldn't let me try again so I had to wait until it came out for windows. Then of course, Ghost Bear Legacy then the novels. Then I bought all the table top stuff and never found anyone to play with until earlier this year when I introduced my son to it :D. Raise 'em right!

Since we're all doing it...
40.
PC wise started with Mechwarrior, remember the old 8-side AC 5 rounds? ;) and from there onwards till MWO.
Missed out on MW 3 and 4 though...

TT wise.. started back in the late 80s... Currently staring at Alpha Strike as a quicker replacement for TT games.

Models wise.. I think I have a regiment of mechs lying around in the games room.

38, started just after the last Battledroids peripherals left the shelves to be replaced by Battletech (which is, IMO, the cooler name anyway).

Dabbled in the series for a while, always been drawn to it, as I am with most giant robots; be they western like MechWarrior or eastern like Mobile Suit Gundam.

43. Got started with MW3, played in every published title ever since plus a few mods. In MW3, hooked up with a unit and started dropping in StarLance. I really got into the league scene (wrote the bulk of the original rules for the Vengeance League) and wrote my own league (http://lancecommand.com/) that was close to alpha right as MW4 was heading out, so it never took off. Been involved with a number of great units and made a lot of friends.
