I usually have some LRMs on my mechs - if only to harress the enemy as they don't know its just 5 LRMs in a salvo
Must admit it can be a bit annoying having the game start with "Please Lock" and then the LRm only player at the back complaning that he is not being protected or has run out of ammo..... I spend more time pressing the R button than any other I think
At least we don't have LRM and SRM vehicle carriers from the tabletop - with 10+ SRM6's etc

Hmmm. Lets see here...
Player A can take out a mech with no ECM, no AMS, no LRMS, and has absolutely no trouble dealing with enemy LRMS.
Player B has trouble dealing with enemy LRMs under any circumstance.
Which one needs to "L2P"?

Sniping is consistently the easiest.
lrming swaps wildly between easymode and impossible, and can be anything anywhere in between.
Brawling is hard.
I mean i can literally stand in one spot all game in a sniper and rack up 1k damaged and 4+kills while ignoring every enemy that isn't a sniper becuase they can't damage me.
Can anyone honestly tell me lrming is easier then this?
Theres good and bad lrmboats.. sitting at the back firing only gets people victory's by luck... if theres no narcer and you get beaten by lrms you should be ashamed honestly.... there a laughably ineffective weapon without narcs.
Lrms are fine... they let new players take a weapon that at the outset is easy to use and can let them feel like there doing soemthing, lets them learn the game a bit before they move onto other methods of fighting that are far more effective.

Hard case against LRMs being the easiest, complete with video evidence.
Great post.

And here it is again. The close minded douchebag.
Ever heard of support? No, I believe you did not. After all, every freaking war was just bunch of guy charging eachother. It's not like the Arrows, Catapult and other war device were made for a reason.
You just want the LRMS removed from the game because you don't like them.
Yet I'm pretty sur you welcome then when they are attacking that Dire Wolf you have no chance to take out completly alone.

Let Fix bug out with a hit in the legs.
Return trajectory of a swarm on the smooth envelope.
And return twisting missiles spear during operation Artemis.
Increase strength and range of AMS.
Equip AMS and hide.
Learn to walk in the team, shoot from a distance of 180, You are standing at the tail group, and you scold that do not do anything.

You still dont understand the system of the lrms:
User skillless - target skillless = lrms good
user skillless - target skilled = lrms bad
user skilled - target skillless = lrms good
user skilled - target skilled = lrms bad
Target can use crutches to compensate missing skill if he is using radarderp or ecm.
LRMs are good or bad,
you want to remove the good part,
but i dont see anything to compensate the bad part of them.

Everyone hated the "Magic Jesus Box", but I am sure some want it back now.
BAP needs to be dialed back a bit to create a better middle ground. We don't need to back to where it was, but we need to turn it back a bit to restore a bit more of the ECM effectivness.
BAP is the new Magic Jesus Box.
