True, but the early IS Omni-mechs are one of those rare cases, I think, where fluff and non-optimization go hand in hand.

Russ in the Town Hall: "we can basically announce any mechs right now that use the technology we have - as long as the initial variant is inside the timeline (3053)". (something like that)

Since Russ stated in this last Townhall that mechs need only have one existing variant and no out of game tech, what are some 3053 and before mechs you'd like to see?

Honestly, the Bushwacker, the BSW-X1 went into full production in 3053, and there is two other variants with current Tech too! I'd also love to see the Stinger, Wasp, Crusader and Longbow.

The mechs in the timeline I really want:

IS: (not counting the rest of the "Macross Unseen": Wasp, Stinger, Valkyrie, Ostroc, Crusader and Longbow - those are priority)
  • Charger, Annihilator
  • Excalibur (new heavy favorite), Lancelot
  • Assassin, Vulcan, Bushwacker
  • Javelin, Flea (but different from the original concept art - I want it more like this)
Clan:
  • Turkina, Kingfisher, Bane
  • Night Gyr
  • Viper, Black Lanner
  • Fire Moth
  • and the remaining IIC mechs: Marauder IIC, Rifleman IIC, Phoenix Hawk IIC, etc.
