But what I think he was talking about for fixed ISXL, is that they cannot up the engine size, as we all know speed is life for lights and mediums in MWO....

True, but the early IS Omni-mechs are one of those rare cases, I think, where fluff and non-optimization go hand in hand.

Since Russ stated in this last Townhall that mechs need only have one existing variant and no out of game tech, what are some 3053 and before mechs you'd like to see?

Honestly, the Bushwacker, the BSW-X1 went into full production in 3053, and there is two other variants with current Tech too! I'd also love to see the Stinger, Wasp, Crusader and Longbow.
