Well, there are a couple of potential heroes (or, technically, heroines) for the Spider:
"Lieutenant Gwndolyn Snedicor: Recently promoted to command a strike lance in the 151st Dark Horse regiment of the Eridani Light Horse, Gwndolyn has shown a talent for both reconnaissance and raiding but is still new to issuing commands. Suffering from severe arachnophobia, she finds it ironic that she was not only assigned to a Spider and has talent using it, but she has also been at the forefront of the unit’s run-ins with Natasha Kerensky."
"Captain Rhonda Stillston: In charge of a recon company in the Addicks Draconis March Militia, Captain Stillson has been a force to be reckoned with on the Combine border for over two decades. Easily recognizable in her bright red Spider with gold highlights, she won’t hesitate to engage units twice her ’Mech’s mass, using her superior mobility to hit and run. Being on the short list for a promotion to major has curtailed her ferocity to some extent, but her company helps keep her on top of the enemy at all times."
Both are listed in TRO 3039 (on page 106), and neither lists the specific loadout of the 'Mech itself... which could give PGI the leeway to (mostly) emulate the Venom's loadout on an actual Spider rather than a heavier (albeit related) 'Mech (which has, for some reason, been a popular and oft-repeated request with regard to a Hero SDR), and attribute it to an apparently-notable canon character.
And, yes, it should be doable...

Chassis: Endo-Steel
Engine: STD 180 (base max speed of 97 kph)
Jump Jets: x6 (LT, RT, x2 CT, LL, RL)
Armor: Ferro-Fibrous (5.5 tons, 194 armor points (92% of maximum))
Heat Sinks: x10 DHS (7 in engine, x2 LT, x1 RT)
Weapons: x4 MPLas (x2 LT, x2 RT)
All tonnage and criticals used; tested in RemLab
Combined with the described color scheme of Stillston's 'Mech, it would be dubbed "Iron Spider" (even if PGI couldn't technically use that name, due to legal concerns

On the other hand, it might be better as something unique... Missile Spider!

Well written up. I've tested my dream SDR heroes in smurfy and the like as well.
Emulating the Venom load out on a standard Spider chassus is exactly what I would like to see.
I think a missile Spider would be nothing fancy. There are plenty of missile lights already, IMO the Spider should stick with energy points.
2xMPL in each side torso would be heaven.
PGI?

PGI?
With as much time as I had taken to work up that faux-Venom (it's actually quoted from this old post), I would have my doubts as to whether PGI would go for that particular idea (as I'm not entirely sure I'd go for it, were I in their position) - it easily has more potential "meta-compliant" loadouts (namely, the potential for separated dual (ER-)PPCs - which no other SDR variant has the hardpoints to equip - plus mimicking every possible weapon set for both the SDR-5D & SDR-5V) AND more potential firepower per ton of weaponry than any other Spider variant (that is: a dual LPL SDR-5D outputs 21.2 units of damage out to 350 meters per alpha strike (with 3.52 second recycle) for 14 tons of weaponry & 16 units of heat, while the quad MPL faux-Venom proposal outputs 24 units of damage out to 200 meters per alpha strike (with 3.00 second recycle) for 8 tons of weaponry & 20 units of heat).
With the ranges & tactics Lights seem to prefer fighting at, the range difference between the LPL and MPL is effectively a non-issue, and the additional heat is easily dealt with with a little more optimization (e.g. switch armor to Standard, switch engine to XL 180, use freed tonnage (3.5 tons) for more DHS and slightly more armor).
Having such a Spider, easily more powerful than any other, as the Hero 'Mech (that is, acquirable only with an outlay of real currency) would certainly set of the rather vocal "P2W Brigade" portion of the playerbase (some of whom do honestly deserve to occasionally be told to perch-and-rotate, IMO

Now that I think about it, aren't you from/in Brazil (I seem to remember that being mentioned in conversation once) - which is also where some ridiculously-large percentage of the world's supermodels come from (I vaguely remember seeing an article to that effect, which I believe narrowed it down to one particular town)?

*strokes chin, concocting a plan...

Yes, yes and yes.

EDIT: if you want to party, you better remove that LRMs (replace for PPCs?), add some tons, mount TSM and some larger melee weapon.

I also managed to find that article I had mentioned.
Quote
Indeed, scouts say that more than 70 percent of the country’s models come from three southern states that hardly reflect the multiethnic melting pot that is Brazil, where more than half the population is nonwhite.
On the pages of its magazines, Brazil’s beauty spectrum is clearer. Nonwhite women, including celebrities of varying body types, are interspersed with white models. But on the runways, the proving ground for models hoping to go abroad, the diversity drops off precipitously. Prosecutors investigating discrimination complaints against São Paulo Fashion Week found that only 28 of the event’s 1,128 models were black in early 2008.
So, it seems like there is a better mix once one moves beyond the actual runway scene.
So, how close are you to this Rio Grande do Sul?

So I am a fanboy of the fast little suicidal spiders its just that im not really a fan of the 2ml only 5V and dont get me started on the 5K, but im so very hoping for a hero spider.
Here are my choices, and if not as a hero the standard variants would be fine.
The SDR-9k aka the Venom even if you keep it at 30tons http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Venom
4 energy hardpoints in the chest

If not that I want the SDR-8x with the Partial Wing for gliding/heat dissipation. http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Partial_Wing I know its not in the current timeline but I want it.

My precious!!!!!
So tell me, would you fly these badboys?
UPDATE
My hero spider would be
The sdr-9k aka Venom
- Same max armor of 210, 112 stock like the other spiders
- 4 medium lasers (located either 2 in each side torso or 1 in each side torso and 2 in the center) - The 5d/k still have arm mounted hardpoints.
- Have its jump capability around 23m (jenner/rav4x heights) or 4 out of 6 jumpjets for stock and 6/6 jumpjets would be 35m , That could be its weakness for having the most energy hard points so it is the same as the 5k at 35m, the 5d reaches 47m and the 5v is still the jump king at 70m.
- Have it as 30 tons instead of 35 so that its easier that way.
- Have it fit a standard 240 engine, all the spiders can max to the 255 engine so just do the same.
- Ams slot
- No FF/endo/dhs just like the other stock spiders

Also, I don't know about you, but I don't see myself being able to traipse about southern Brazil (or anywhere else in Brazil, for that matter) anytime in the foreseeable future.

Not very close, unfortunately... (1000 miles)
Rio Grande do Sul (Big South River) is in the extreme south of the country... because of the large Germanic immigration, there are lots of (natural) blondes there, something not very common in Brazil.
