Thanks! I will fix the table.
I'm not listing the maximum speed, but the stock one.
But the Atlas has the same 3/5 speed in the TT and it moves at 48.6 in MWO. By the speed of the Awesome (which should be exactly the same as the Atlas and Stalker), I understand MWO speeds are not canon but I didn't figured out how they work.
From BT:
(walk speed, in MP) * (max. tonnage, in tons) = (engine rating)
(walk speed, in MP) * 1.5 = (run speed, in MP)
1 MP = 1 hex per turn = 30 meters/10 seconds = 3 meters/second = 10.8 kph
Therefore:
(walk speed, in kph) = 10.8 * ((engine rating)/(max. tonnage, in tons))
(run speed, in kph) = 1.5 * 10.8 * ((engine rating)/(max. tonnage, in tons)) = 16.2 * ((engine rating)/(max. tonnage, in tons))
For a stock BNC-3S (a 95-ton 'Mech with a 285 engine):
(walk speed, in kph) = 10.8 * ((285)/(95)) = 32.4 kph
(run speed, in kph) = 16.2 * ((285)/(95)) = 48.6 kph
So, actually, Oda was right about the actual speed
; TT usually rounds them up to whole multiples for hexes.
However, there is no canon variant "BNC-4S"; canonicity can be checked by seeing if the variant in question has a verifiable record sheet or is on the Master Unit List.
