Oh... I just saw the banner... pink like that, Rhonda's "Heavy Metal" looks something more like "Glam Metal". ;)

(I hope we will be able to change at least the primary color soon!)

And the speakers? Will it be able to really deliver music?!?!

I think they had to make it pink or Hasbro would be all over them for copyright infringement lol.

Voltron is a mecha I guess. Transformers, not so much. Not counting Headmasters of course. Okay, now I'm confused.

The Headmasters weren't pilots, it was a symbiotic relationship where the Cybertronian and Headmaster would both contribute to the battle. It never really made much sense, which is why the Japanese ignored it completely and did their own series where Blaster and Soundwave fight each other to the death and Wheelie and Daniel are mega annoying. Although they didn't have that creepy Daniel/Arcee thing going on, so there's that.

I would be happy with any of them, and they will probably all be in game eventually.

The table's listing for the BNC-3S is incorrect; the 'Mech carries a PPC in its left arm, and thus would have at least one energy hardpoint in that location. :)

1st EDIT: Also, the BNC-3S has a TT movement profile of 3/5, so it has a cruising/walking speed of 32.4 kph and a maximum/running speed of 54.0 kph with its stock 285 engine.
With the 1.2x engine rating multiplier for Assault 'Mechs, the upper limit of engines for the BNC-3S is a 345 (rounded up from 342), which gives it a maximum speed (without pilot efficiencies and such) of ~58.8 kph.
So, where does the table's listing of 48.6 come from? B)

2nd EDIT: Additionally, there is no such thing as a BNC-4S, and the BNC-5S isn't available until 3053.

It is cool to see them all compared like that. I would think they should give the charger lots of energy hard points. Maybe 10 or more. Like a supercharged swayback.

Thanks! I will fix the table.

I'm not listing the maximum speed, but the stock one.

But the Atlas has the same 3/5 speed in the TT and it moves at 48.6 in MWO. By the speed of the Awesome (which should be exactly the same as the Atlas and Stalker), I understand MWO speeds are not canon but I didn't figured out how they work.

Researching a little, it looks like there is a BNC-4S. It's not the same I looked at before, but it is there.

I will add the fixed version to the table.

PS: some sources say the BNC-5S was produced in 3048.

PPS: when typing Banshee in the Solaris 7 search tool, there are 40+ variants... crap, it looks like most are not canon.

Run movement points are supposed to be 1.5x walk Movement points. If walk mp is an odd number, this results in run mp of half a hex... You can't move half a hex in TT so they round the run mp up DOWN to the nearest full hex in TT

In MWO, we aren't restricted to needing to move whole hexes, so the same formula can be used no matter what the walk speed is. Engine rating divided by Mech tonnage, multiplied by 16.2

This results in the top run speed of mechs that had an odd number of walk mp being 5.4 kph slower than their "canon" top speed

IMO, the true canon max speed is what mwo uses, using that formula mentioned above. Why should some mechs get a "free" 5.4 kph just because their engine rating divided by tonnage is an odd number?

Slight error, fixed it B)

From BT:
(walk speed, in MP) * (max. tonnage, in tons) = (engine rating)
(walk speed, in MP) * 1.5 = (run speed, in MP)
1 MP = 1 hex per turn = 30 meters/10 seconds = 3 meters/second = 10.8 kph

Therefore:
(walk speed, in kph) = 10.8 * ((engine rating)/(max. tonnage, in tons))
(run speed, in kph) = 1.5 * 10.8 * ((engine rating)/(max. tonnage, in tons)) = 16.2 * ((engine rating)/(max. tonnage, in tons))

For a stock BNC-3S (a 95-ton 'Mech with a 285 engine):
(walk speed, in kph) = 10.8 * ((285)/(95)) = 32.4 kph
(run speed, in kph) = 16.2 * ((285)/(95)) = 48.6 kph

So, actually, Oda was right about the actual speed B); TT usually rounds them up to whole multiples for hexes.

However, there is no canon variant "BNC-4S"; canonicity can be checked by seeing if the variant in question has a verifiable record sheet or is on the Master Unit List.

Sorry to break it to you Odanan but that "BNC-4S" is a custom job made by long time Solaris 7 member Cypher Himura and not a canon variant. You have to know how to sift thru Solaris 7 to find the custom from the canon stuff. The websites owner Major Tom allows members to create their own "Armory" of custom mechs and vehicles etc. for others to view and download for use with the tabletop. I used to have an armory as well before the server crapped out a long time ago and my info was lost.

If you want to see items from the original TRO's just hover your mouse over the "Armory Center" link on the left hand side and then select "Standard TRO's" and from there you can pick whatever TRO has been released then select what you wish to view from that TRO. Hope this helps I know Solaris 7 can be confusing sometimes. B)

But MUL doesn't have the actual sheets of the mechs. :)
