It will be big (it's just 5 tons lighter than the Atlas), but we expect the center torso not to be huge...

It actually SHOULD be taller than the Atlas, if it were held to lore. But it would be built with a similar profile to the ShadowHawk. Which has already proven tall is not near as big an issue as people want to believe, as long as it is not wide.
So when and if it comes, I hope for 1-2 meters taller than the AS7D, but about 3/4 the width. And not looking like a Robo-Biker

As do I. After I saw the desecration done to Catapults I'm seriously on the edge here.
PGI has a track record of making the best Mech models I've ever seen, anywhere. Maybe it's just me again but I think that their quality has come down a notch from what it used to be. Ever since Quickdraw the new mechs have been just so... blocky.

I'd like it this way. Besides, I think it's very important that the Banshee should have minimal profile since most of the weapons are in the torsos anyway. I guess I'm just saying that the Banshee is a prime example of a design that you can make or break by changing just a single modifier.

Ohh the Quickdraw is ugly...and not ugly in a good way.
I'm quite happy with the Battlemaster, Thunderbolt, Wolverine and Griffin, tough. (the Shadow hawk is cool, but maybe too anime-like for the context)
The Locust... well, it's too much similar to the Flea... I wish it was more like this. (would pilot with proud a Locust with Tie-Fighter cockpit, even if it sucks as a mech)

Edit: Another one that I found. http://lego.cuusoo.c...deas/view/33807 think that you could improve this Bishop?

Shadow hawk is actually very generic looking to me. And I still hate the head. But dang do I love to drive my Ugly Stick!!!

Could be interesting how PGI would develop a Mech from scratch - no lore mech - a complete new Mech

After seeing the Battlemaster, I'm a bit fearful for my Banshee-5S. It has even more hardpoints than the BLR-1G, so perhaps it won't be able to twist its torso at all (slight hyperbole).
Still going to drive it of course.
