Banshee would work very well with hardpoint inflation (like did with the Griffin).
Banshee is 95 tons. It would be nice to see the spot finally filled.
Banshee has the most badass level 1 variant, the 3S.
Banshee has never featured in any MW game.
Banshee is one of the most common assault mech in the Inner Sphere and a Steiner favorite.
Banshee could look terrific with Alex Iglesias' magic.
Cyclops is just a smaller Atlas (or a larger Orion). And as the electronics assault is already the Atlas D-DC, Cyclops wouldn't add much variety now.
But no, I have no evidence.

Now I got a urbanmech inside my urbanmech spider.
If it came out based on the bobble I'd be satisfied, I think it looks cool.

They will be, oh yes, they will be...
Seriously though, why would they even not put something in? As long as it meets the magic three criteria its getting put in. More mechs, is more to buy, more opportunity for hero mechs etc.

Hello, my names Butane. I say your statement and believe you've been visiting a different forum or playing a different game. Mind sharing where you come from to have such a high opinion?

Ever play a different game and look at the forums? Let us look at one of the biggest, Blizzard: If you look at the forum there is lots of upset people over the laziness in the content that they have been releasing but yet they charge full price and $40 dollars for each expansion and have only dropped that pricing recently so that they do not scare away new customers. PGI have been for the most part very open with us and other than a few instances of changing their minds for what they thought was the good of MWO. Head over to Bioware and again you run into a company that listens very little to the community that plays and pays their paychecks. I can go on and on with list of companies with very little care for the fans.
I am not saying that you have to agree with me but I have been playing online games for a while now and my experience is that they are riddled with cheating, gold sites, rude and disrespectful people, developers that either do not care or are fed up, etc. MWO while still lacking CW and some other key features is generally a more pleasant experience. The team at PGI while small rushes to fix mistakes that are game breaking; there are still game breaking glitches in WoW. PGI listens to our complaints and choose suggestions based on if they feel that it will help the game, and while they have made mistakes they have defended them, apologized for them, and/or came up with solutions. A-la-carte being the most recent compromise that they have made for us.
This explanation is getting a bit long but this and many other reasons not mentioned is why I believe that this is one of the best games and with one of the best developers. Not the best, but still up there. I think the best reason for why I feel this way is that I was waiting for over a decade for a decent MechWarrior title that was not that lame *** arcade rip off, mechassault. So while not my vision, I still love MWO.
