that would be a plus...that right arm is gonna soak a lot of shots, too.

Yenlo in effect - almost all your firepower is in that arm - for good AND ill.

naw, only if you rely on ballistics. You can pack some good punch in the left arm, infact, one of the more interesting variants has 2 ballistic and 2 energy in the left arm... (Config C).... and 3 AMS; ecm, BAP and TAG in the RA.

But with the prime - unless you split 50-50 all your weaponry is gonna be in one arm or the other.

Comstar specials for Battle of Tukayid. Make no sense for us to see them til AFTER Tukaid, if at all.

They won't announce another pack until at least the end of the year, as they will be trying to sell Clan mechs until then. They have said that the new mech schedule will continue (roughly once per month after June), and I think the list above is probably a good one for those monthly releases, but any pack will probably be like Bishop said: after Tukayidd.

considering the comparative lack of options, I would bet the next package would likely be more Clans. I am sure there will be some sort of "Reinforcement" Pack, but even after that.

Russ stated that the Sabre pack was a one-time thing and the Clan pack won't have one. I think it was in the NGNG interview. Regardless, the size of the Clan pack was the reason he gave for why there wouldn't be a reinforcement pack along with it.

I am going to be kind of bored until they start releasing IS mechs again. Clan mechs (other than a select few) all kind of look the same to me.

Well, yeah, anything Russ says has to be taken with a grain of salt, but still... that was what he said, lol.

I figure we'll see the Vindicator/Mauler showing up somewhere in the middle of the Clan release schedules to appeal to those who turn up their noses at gold-diggin (er, paintin') designs. Other than that, the release cycle for most of the year will likely be a Clan summer followed by a smattering of IS designs in the midst of the Clan heavy/assault C-bill releases.

No reason to release a huge amount of designs at once, it'll just mean the cows run dry of cash to be milked.
