Ahh you mean the mech that doesnt even exist. Someone at Microsoft created up mechs for mw4 that were later actually produced in tro3067. Unfortunately they never did enough fact checking to see if the name hell hound was used unfortantly it was.
Mechs from those dark days.
Argus
Thantos
Chimera
Madcat ii
Osiris
Hellspawn
Uzial
Wait, all those mechs were made up? I thought only the Mad cat mk II was. o-O
Anyway. Hellhound was the actual hellhound you are thinking off. It's just it was an unseen mech and did an extreme redesign.
I should remind you the artist for MW4 is David "mecha-zone" White. And to remind you further this is the same person who that is... That's the guy who also drawn the pictures on Sarna of mechs and most vehicles... he nearly singlehandedly drawn that all by himself.
So stating that he didn't do research on the mech he was drawing is very far from the truth (in fact if you look at the hardpoints and weapons of this mech it can nearly replicate every Wolverine IIC build as well as the standard wolverines)
Another piece of evidence: look at the concept arts of the Hellhound.
concept art B and most specifically C is very close to the Wolverine IIC / Hellhound/ Conjurer.
Buuuut copy rights. However I must say I really do love the looks of the MW4 hellhound and besides it being visually different in MW4 it was also an omnimech so that kinda broke some issues here and there...
A lot of people do wish however that MW4 / Mekteks mechs get canonised and such and some already drawn the alt.configs. or variants of some for eg MW4 Hellhound (note: this is in the realm of Fanon)
Prime
1 x Cl ER Small Laser
2 x Cl ER Medium laser
2 x Cl UAC 5
1 x Cl LRM 10
A
2 x Cl ER Large laser
1 x Cl LBX 10
1 x Cl SSRM 6
The other variants have Heavy lasers and such but afterall these are fanon as to recreate MW4's Hellhound as a new mech.
I actually kind of want to see MW: O make up their own mech with Catalyst games and canonise it...
I mean our hero mechs are already canon now... would be interesting.
