Saw it. Thoroughly underwhelmed, TBH. Lauren did some nice paint jobs but most of the hardpoints suck, and or add nothing new. OH BOY!!! I can put 2x AC in my SMNs left arm!!!!
My trend of being unimpressed here continues.

Then I saw the 'actual' hardpoints are switched, no Torso ballistics, just laser torsos, for more laser vomit clan mech.
Bleh.
And the Adder, while it has Ballistic hardpoints, brings nothing new.
Will pick them up on sale whenever to complete my Light collection.
As a light jock, the rest, nothing really exciting or worth bothering with really.

...
I'm gonna wait for a hero sale before picking up that KFX, though.
Am curious if this will finally provide the SHC the 1 or 2 additional E it begs for, when it is eventually put out.

Hey, just tell me when you are in the mood. I'm playing everyday for the current event.
(every game gets boring after some time - but what never gets boring is playing with friends)

Yep. S'why I play at least three games, and love coop or multiplayer style games.

Yeah, sadly, it's ...I could log on with CGBI, anytime. But the balance, the gameplay, etc is sooo dang stale, I just would rather watch reruns on Netflix. Actually, Warhippy gifted me the Shadowrun humblebundle, so next time I get some uninterrupted "me" time I need to jump in on that, too.
But I might hit you up. I Really need to touch base with the Stock Mech crowd, but seems i offended jaeger Gonzo so am in pariah mode (not pariah devalis mode, though)

I'm personally waiting for the Huntsman before I go in on the Stock fun, entirely. Been messing around with it with a couple Nova Cats, but there are nowhere near enough of us to actually test C vs IS stock mode, with proper star vs multi-lance action.

yeah, whereas I want to pretty much just play 3025 era tech, as that had decent (though nowhere near perfect) internal balance, comparatively.

3025 was pure tonnage based balance.
It's quite funny that the exceptions in battle performance had the same cause as in MWO. The heat "threshold" or the fixed 10 free heatsinks. This made builds like UrbanMech or Hermes II, Clint eg (those with AC5 as primary weapon very bad designs - and reduced the AC5 to the role of a secondary armament
Anyhow - the guideline for a star vs lance system should based on tonnage either. 100ton of clan mechs should be equal to 120ton of IS mechs - not matter the tech level.
A humvee is maybe not as sophisticated as a F1 race car - but do you think that the F1 can win every race facing the humvee?

I'm afraid stock 10 vs 12 would still be unfair... Those poor SHS mechs wouldn't be able to lose heat on hot maps...
