Yes.

Now you will call me a liar because you're just that jaded and predictable. You asked a loaded question with the intent of blocking conversation to vent your mistrust in PGI for unrelated issues, and it wouldn't matter if anyone said either yes or no to you. You're trying to stir up the same feelings in other people to make yourself feel better, and are therefore being toxic by trying to dissuade people from staying a part of the community. So just stop.

So you don't actually know whether or not PGI has ever banned anyone for toxic behavior, but you won't let that stop you from categorically stating that they do, despite having not one bit of evidence it occurs. As long as we're clear, you can pyschoanalyze me in an effort to avoid that fact but it doesn't make your statement anymore true. So please refrain from making statements that aren't true. You can state you believe that PGI bans people, but PGI's word is hardly unimpeachable. If you dislike being challenged to prove statements that you make then I suggest you refrain from making categorical statements regarding things you have no real knowledge of. It's amazing how mad people get when you simply point out that they are stating things as fact that they have no evidence of. Anyways, believe what you like, I know I will continue to.

The hypocrisy in this post is unreal.

Thank you for calling me a liar exactly like I knew you would. Now everyone will know not to pay you any attention.

Yup I'm desperately concerned about my standing with people like you. I hate to inform you though, I'd hazard to guess my words carry more weight than whoever you are. ;)

Yeah, that's my point.

Keep your awful carebear mechanics out of my very oldschool, very raw robot shooter.

You forgot 'that is marketed to adults who grew up in the 80's-90's'.

Sidenote, i was playing PSO2 which had a pretty strong language filter.
BUT...they had picture chat.

Guess exactly where that went?
Yeah. I guess the Japanese dont mind porn in their language-friendly games. Cultural difference?

Thats basically how a large part of the world works today. From states to business and even personal relationships.
Look at some of MWOs customers. PGI treats them badly and they even pay money for it.

PGI has never treated me badly. And I've sunk more money into it than some of the prominent crybabies.

As for how you think the world works, that's more a reflection of your own attitude.

Yes.
Your topic offends me, and Its ruining the game for me.
You should be banned.

Why is it wrong for me to do that, but its okay for you to do the same to another person? You can't disprove that I wasn't emotionally devastated by your posts. so I should have the power to take away your freedom of speech.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thats a very general thing, and there is a reason video games are never rated for their online experience, because its impossible to control every single person, even if PGI starts banning "toxic" people, those people will likely make a new account and continue their rampage, No company no matter how large has enough staff or time to keep the community free of trolls.

So, I'm sure we've seen abusive language being thrown about a lot and random TKers as well. I think its time we had an in-game/after game rating system like that of LoL and other games like that.

Good until players start down voting you just for killing them or because they just don't like you or are accusing you of hacking etc etc. Seen teams come on and trash talk the whole team, can only imagine the kind of voting they would do.

Like most things, it would be easily open to abuse...

You ask people loaded questions, ignore answers that prove you wrong, and then continue to think you're right and that people will look at your posts in high regard? That is a truly impressive level of delusion you have going on.

No, my question is simple, and you're lying about it is the true hypocrisy. You don't know if PGI has ever banned anyone for toxic behavior. I made no absolute statement, I merely said it is unlikely that PGI would. I never get why people who are so sure PGI does this care that other people don't believe it. I'm simply letting people know that before they go out of their way to report someone, since PGI cares so little about this they still haven't put in an in game report button despite claiming to look into since CB, that they might consider better ways to spend their time.
If you believe in PGI, then go ahead take screenshots and make notes and file reports. I won't bother to waste any time since PGI can't be bothered to make it easy. I also point out demonstrable facts, such as PGI's admission that support tickets are behind, and that they are admitted liars re: working on CW when they weren't. Other people simply state that PGI bans people for toxic behavior with no evidence and I'm the one who isn't credible. You and the other PGI apologists don't have to believe me. I figure you will continue to believe them no matter what, so I simply speak to those who aren't aware of PGI's past and believe what others state without any proof what so ever.
As I said, feel free to believe what you like, I know I will. Some one's likely deluded here, but it would appear that actual evidence is on my side, all you have is belief and at best anecdotal evidence. Report away, I'm not going to, nor would I be concerned in the slightest about bans.

Abuse of the reporting system leads to punishment for the abusing player. Look at League. You submit false reports and get punished for it. You get a bunch of false reports against you and nothing happens to you. You get legitimate reports against you often enough or for severe enough offenses and you're given a chance to stop the behavior before any punitive action takes place. Loving these flimsy arguments.

I can't stop laughing at the fact that you seriously think I'm lying. I didn't think you'd actually go there when I called you on it beforehand, but you actually think it's all a big conspiracy against you by PGI and some shady force of "apologists"(your gross misuse of that word really makes this all the more hilarious) bent on spreading lies and misinformation about PGI doing anything productive. You really didn't think anyone would say yes and just couldn't accept that you were wrong, so you decided I'm a liar in cahoots with PGI. Your dedication to trolling unrelated topics about PGI to stroke your own ego and convince yourself of your own deluded theories is truly a thing to behold.

So how would the game judge the accuracy of a players vote? Someone downvotes you, how will the game know that this is an accurate representation of your participation in the game? What if a whole team down voted you just because there is one player in their unit that really dislikes you? How does the game distinguish that all of those votes are false?

If you are going to consider a feature you have to look at the pro's AND the potential con's.... ....any kind of vote system is open to abuse and not all abuse would be easily identifiable unless a player had a history of suspicious voting..

Look at the forums - it would be easy enough to pad player profile ratings up or down. So whats to say the same would not apply for in game ratings.

You call it a flimsy argument, I call it a logical assessment of the potential flaws of such a system.

And the ban list gets longer and longer.

2 groups of people. 1 just lost to the other. Lets give them the ability to judge the other and report them.

I wonder how many people abuse the report system now.

You know CS:GO has an ingame report system. I know for a fact that there is at least 1 report per game.

Yes, I firmly 100% believe you are lying. I asked a question you couldn't answer so you obviously decided that you would lie to make your point. So laugh all you want. You have yet to put forth one bit of proof and have ignored my points. I told you feel free to make what ever psycho analysis you imagine will help your failing cause. I really hit a nerve with some folks over this. Your dedication to keep this up is impressive. PGI's own admission that they lied about CW development is a delusion? PGi's failure to deliver any in game tools for reports and instead relying on people sending e mails to support despite this issue being brought up since CB is deluded? PGI's own admission that support was backed up is a delusion?
Once again some one in this conversation is deluded and attempting to protect their ego. I have facts on my side. You have an unproven claim. So I will continue to believe that PGI **** cans the reports after a boiler plate reply and you can keep saying you were banned. I will choose to believe the evidence and my own experience and you can keep saying you were banned. People can decide who they think is credible. Anyone can say they were banned. PGI has motive and oppurtunity and admissions of lying. You have your claim that you were banned. I will let people weigh those and decide. You can keep saying you were banned apparently.
