I think the lynx has an 8 ballistics arm...

In lore, but they were HMGs.

2 leg lasers on that one too, along with one laser in each arm. It would be nice.

move those leg lasers to the STs. remove locked JJs. replace heavy machine guns with regular ones. boom! perfect.

Almost.

Leave the JJs, the RT has two free slots; they'll fit. I'd be happy with just a "G" ST, 2E slots.

Arms would be welcome....but they would be....GIGANTIC. Still, 4B, 1E....I don't even know if that would fit. Currently, they go on one of 4 sides.


Still, it would be nice.

I was confusing them with a differnt class of JJs....then make them 0.25 tons and free 1.5 tons.

I've tried using them again...good god the badness.

Four should be an adequate weapon at short range...but that's certainly not the case.


A full 6 seconds firing into a red CT from 20M....made the target not die. That should be 20 damage, which is well within the red HP of an 80 tonner, while also being supplemented by 4 MLs.



When's that 20% damage coming back?

I agree that MGs are bad. The Arrow does 90% of it's damage with LPLs, with MGs taking the roll of Tickleguns™.

I still use them because they don't generate heat, but they need a damage buff.

But can you imagine how much of an utterly DEVASTATING effect that would have on the back of a Dire Whale?

Yeah, it might almost approach the kind of damage you can expect from a single SPL.
