And how easily you guys seem to forget that.

We really haven't. The whole Davion ordeal was a literal case of 'talk ****, get hit' not 'lets go stomp some noobs!'

stomping noobs is pretty cool though

The clans make a living off it with their ER Micro lasers.

The reason I'm so (over)confident is because I firmly believe Kurita has the best loyalist units in the game. That's why I say we don't need mercs, that's why I say we don't need the star league, and that's why I say (very rude versions of) "get lost" to people outside the faction who threaten us with anything. My love for Brave Kuritan Samurai and Dear Coordinator knows no bounds.

I saw this different, i think we need mercs and i honor their work for the glory of the dragon.

I think also the Gunji no kanrai see it in the same way. Okay the dear coordinator in the other way. So there is place for both points of view.

For Dieron. For the Dragon!

is already better than anything you can muster.

I'm puttin it down Roadbeer, you picking it up?

I don't think you'd like to find out what I can muster.

I'm just going to leave it at that

Funny, I've actually been running a tally if how many times I've killed NKVA players in public matches. How many people do you have again?

You really don't. The last guy Roadbeer mustered was removing mustard from his ****** for weeks.

There are some good merc groups out there, and even the ones I speak lowly of aren't necessarily full of bad people.

I applaud Cameron's Highlanders for being chill dudes and sticking with Kurita and not getting all huffy about NSL nonsense and leaving like some other merc groups have.

Do you always gotta be the passive-aggressive, haughty guy?

You sound like an antagonist from a children's comedy whose only motivation is that he doesn't like the protagonist's attitude.

"Watch out gang, we better be careful or else Mr. Roadbeer is going to tell the principal!"

Wait, which is it - Kuritan loyalists are sufficient and you don't need no stinking mercs / Pugs, or it's a pity that some units are leaving Kuritan space? They're, uh, kinda mutually exclusive

There's lots of good mercs, but I'm not gonna get on my hands and knees begging for them to love me because the mercs will do whatever they feel like, since they know they're the ones who are really in charge of everything. The highlanders have been fantastic, BWC and seraph have been helpful, and any other mercs we get in the coming months will do their share, I'm sure. But I still firmly believe that we aren't doomed without them or anything. They'll help us as long as they want to, and will leave when they feel like it, and that's ok. We can only hope that mercs who join up with us are cool and cooperative, everything else is less important.

While more help is always welcome I shed no tears when shimmeringsword got all huffy and left with his ACES. That is what I mean.

edit: Kurita shouldn't sacrifice her right to self-determination just because some merc groups got it in their head that they run the Inner Sphere

At end of day, Kurita loyalists stand on own two feet. Dear Coordinator greatly appreciate sacrifices of all who fight honorably for him, but also know that mercenary's loyalties are to space bucks, not glorious Combine.

Kurita Warrior who place mercenary above Combine dishonor both himself and mercenary.

They do run the inner sphere though, lets be honest.

Clan space too, really.

For clarification:

Is it one? Because those extremely nice mercs you lent us were getting beat by clan pugs and barely managed a thing.

And I'm not kidding, they really are nice, and I bear them no ill will. Not being great at a videogame isn't a crime, and in fact I'd say it's a whole lot better to be nice and friendly and bad at videogames than it is to be mean and horrible and really great at videogames (like me). It's just they really didn't do a whole lot, so uh, welp.

You're right, and I would say especially clan space, though the mercs there seem to be quite loyal.
