I don't really use timber wolves much anymore because I like to use LRMs. and the TW's side torsos blow out all too frequently. same with the hellbringer.

My stormcrow does really good with x2 LRM10s, x2 ERMeds and x3 SMPL though. but I guess that's just because it's OP.
You understand people only aim for the sides right? Just like people aim for legs and arms on a crow because the ct and sides are almost the same.thing.

And as was predicted so it came to pass, the godmechs were target nerfed after all the freepaying scum owned them, and a fresh round of op grabdeal robots were prepared to rule over all for 6 months, until they too would be target nerfed and the cycle begins anew.

Yes nerfing tier one mechs makes tier two mechs viable. And buffing lower tiers mechs makes them viable. Thats why PGI needs to fix the outliers at each extreme first. This seems to be a step in that direction.

Folks. Lets just have all mechs and weapons be the same. Mechs models and variants will then just be reskins and weapons will just be different via sound and visual effects. Then finally these balance arguments will come to an end.

Making some mechs less OP and other mechs better is how you get balance. Its not complicated.

You're just not getting it. Something that stinks like a pile of crap will still stink like a pile of crap unless something better is made to stink much worse than a pile of crap.

I'm yet to see exact and adequate reasoning behind why TBR or SCR are "OP".

The rationale many people are using is actually very simple:

Best = OP

But because something will always be the "best", it's basically a race to the bottom.

There is no news 1212 or 1213 yet
There is 11 and 14 on either side.

They must have it on a delayed post thing, it exists and was created last week. Just hidden secret ohhhh.

I think TBRs are fine, Scrows need hitbox fixes, not quirks.

Cheers!

They're doing qurik nerfs because the hitbox issues are probably related to HSR, which they seem unwilling or unable to fix.

What do you mean for no reason? They want people to buy Arctic Cheetah which is clearly superior to quirked FS9.

it is? How do you know this?

Yep - which causes other fall out further down the track. Fix the problem, don't create "get-arounds"...

that's making one assumption, that they CAN fix the problem.

Dude HSR has been an issue for over a year now, it's not getting fixed any time soon, if ever.

If you ignore the whole HSR thing, hitreg itself has been an issue since day one of the closed beta if not earlier, it's been over 3 years then, it is never getting fixed.
