I'm some-what surprised they listed the names, though with the new forum group you could just look them up that way.

That said, 64 players out of how many thousands of active accounts since the announcement was made? That's a very tiny fraction of the player base, should also be worth noting I doubt many people recognize a single name on that list. I know I don't.

EDIT: Correction, I remember one name on that list. I have no idea where or when I saw it however.

I'd like to point out that this is not the way to do it. I've already had to debunk a few hackusations based on spectated gameplay involving other players. In many circumstances, this is NOT a good way to catch cheaters other than only the most blatant. I'm sure PGI's method goes much deeper than simple visual cues.

I'm shocked to see that after looking through profiles, a large number of these accounts were created in 2012, and probably had semi-active to very active users.

PGI must have a concrete method for banning players if they went after some longtime account holders. I'd understand quickly banning new spam accounts who hack, but wow. Wow.

Good to see these guys go away. If the banhammer threat keeps watch, it will hopefully keep away the losers.

I knew a couple of those names. One of them, was a player I really respected, you could even say a mentor. A smart guy. Amazing player (too amazing I guess).

But now, that's all shattered. What a shame.

Thank you PGI for making this an even playing field. Hackers ruin games, ruin confidence in the Devs, and ruin what should be a good time.

I have tons of respect for PGI now, knowing they will do the hard work of rooting out these a-holes.
