As Nightmare1 said, your posts come across as being sorry for and excusing the use of hacks due to being an inexperienced or bad player. Your own responses to being called on this aren't helping your case, just let it go please.

I am rather vehement about hack users and what should be done to them, as I said, I used to hunt them as part of my job duties, and I did that for over a decade. I've seen exactly what they can do to a gaming community, even ones smaller than MWO's community, and it's horrible. The reaction to ModPud should give you some idea of how bad of an effect these people have on a community.


How PGI found the hack users, that was easy, they were reported and then PGI simply looked. It's NOT all that difficult to find hack users, the hack makers simply try to fool detectors who look during hack usage, that's all that's needed in most cases. But they always leave a trace, it's software after all.

MWO hacks aren't freebies, they are a product that's sold online for real cash. Think about that for a minute....

Who is going to give real money for MWO hacks now that PGI has made it extremely clear that if you use it, they WILL find out and they will permban you, no warnings, no exceptions, no refunds.

Very smart PR move by PGI all in all, they not only show us they are serious about not allowing hack users in the game, but they also make it clear to the people making the hacks that it's NOT a good business for them to be in.

Only outside stuff I use while playing MWO... TS3 when I'm running with my unit, and FRAPS when I want to record how badly I'm playing. lol

The only thing I've used to increase performance while playing is a new video card.

Just looked at someone's profile page..... Oh, and the "Banned - Cheater" title..... is PINK. lol

I have tons of respect for PGI now, knowing they will do the hard work of rooting out these a-holes.

Thank you PGI for finally handling this matter and for publicly announcing these cheaters. There were a couple of names I recognised (with shock) but this is what needs to be done.

Keep up the great work and continue to list those names as the more it is advertised hopefully the less it occurs.
