these people routinely betray positions of their inactive teammates i.e. violate their teammates very real trust but as a bunch of hypocrites claim that cheaters, whom they probably never or almost never seen, violate some vague 'community trust'
Honestly I can't tell if you're being argumentative, so I'll just try and explain myself. I'm not at all offended by anything you've said, so if I come off a bit harsh anywhere in this thread it's unintentional and I apologize in advance.
"These people", I'm assuming you're referring to the non-cheating community? And yes, I do frequently see people revealing the location of people who are DC'd, or apparently AFK (and who have been AFK since the start of the match) to hasten the end of the match.
People who accidentally DC are typically allowed a 'reasonable' amount of time to reconnect, otherwise we figure they're having a serious issue, or, if they've obviously purposefully hidden and shut down, THEN DC'd, are they themselves violating the CoC, and have zero intention of logging back in to try and fight the match.
Those that start out AFK and remain AFK for the entire duration of 11 other teammate's deaths... Well again, those people probably are having a serious technical issue and CAN'T get into the match, or never had any real intention on joining the match, so let's just end the friggin' match already...
CERTAINLY, revealing the location of a DC/AFK mech comes no where NEAR the severity of game disruption as using wall hacks and aim bots, any REASONABLE person would agree with that.

who did you the right to speak from the name of community after all? as for me cheats i.e. violation of the fair play in most of cases aren't equal to the actual violation of trust which is vastly more serious
I'll consider myself having the right to speak in the name of the community, on this subject, for as long as my name doesn't show up on a 'cheating-banned' list.
