well, some I'm sure would very much like to cross that bridge, however, we don't want to feed the troll, so...

The JM6 was designed to fix some flaws of the Rifleman, most importantly the heat issues and lack of ammo, but this certainly looks like a cross between the JM6 and the RFL-3N. A couple things it keeps from the original JM6 design is the shoulders being higher than the cockpit, squared feet, and asymmetrical gun barrells - although some of the later Rifleman models lost that symmetry when they switched to PPCs and LBX autocannons - but the original JM6 had a lot more straight lines for the legs and an odd looking rounded cockpit.

Wished it would be a Rifleman... :(

Just replace the A/C2 with lazers and you've got yourself a rifleman, well sort-off.

The Jagermech is based of the design of the Rifleman, This mech was meant to correct the design faults of the Rifleman.

*glances over the Jagermech again*

How awful was the Rifleman, that the Jagermech is an improvement?

It is very similar. Cool cool. I like it. I very much love Fire Support Mechs and Autocannon machines.

You also have to remember that at the time of the default configuration, you might only have 16-20 armor on the chest of most heavy, maybe 30 points of armor on assault mechs. Two AC/2's (not to mention the AC/5's) could in fact strip some armor over the course of a few rounds - again, especially when combined with other mechs.

That, plus in a lance of 'mechs you'd use the lighter AC's to crit seek once you popped open a 'mech.

And there's always the chance for a golden BB...

Looking at the red logo on the 'Mech's right leg, it could possibly be Jacob's Juggernauts. Not 100% certain though.

I stand corrected. It is Simonson's Cutthroats Thanks to Strum Wealth for pointing this out.

So, that red logo looks suspiciously like a JagerMech posing for a reminiscence of the Jägermeister logo, no?
