Is it just me or does it looks like the villain M.O.D.O.K from The Avengers universe? Just sayin'...

Nah defiantly not just you! If the guns were longer it would be the rifleman. Which is cool to me. It was a good design that needed some updating.

How about the Marauder now please! Pleeeeeeeeease!!!!

been gone out of country a month and i come back to see 2 new mechs. I like the weapons load out of the jager but i cant stand the armor amount. I would prefer this load out on a heavier mech. Although the A variant isn't bad. My fav varaint is the 7-f. 70 ton 2 rac 5. Now thats a nice mech.

Armor is something that is very easily changed on a mech. What seems to be a popular idea around here is to drop the AC2s, upgrade the AC5s to UAC5s, upgrade the medium lasers to large lasers, then add armor and extra ammo.should be able to get around 10 tons of armor onto it fairly easily, and that weapon loadout is definately respectable.

"What a piece of junk!"

Designed as an anti-aircraft platform and long-range fire support unit, the JagerMech was intended to correct several perceived faults of the original Rifleman. While it does address the Rifleman's heat issues and limited ammunition, it does so at the cost of significant armor protection. Carrying only a miserly six tons of standard armor, the JagerMech is very vulnerable to return fire. In its favor, the long range of its autocannon, combined with the excellent Garret D2j targeting and tracking system (made famous by the Rifleman), make it a prime choice for anti-aircraft work. The range of its autocannons also allow it to engage many enemies without suffering return fire, and when stationary it is able to fire all its weapons without heat build-up.
Houses Davion and Liao field the largest numbers of JagerMechs, with House Davion being particularly fond of the design.

No one going to buy that one. Worst choice ever not enough armor, weak weapon load, and the hardpoints blow chunks.

No ones blowing a wad on this one.

Sorry,

Thanks

Obviously you haven't read all of the posts before yours, or you'd know that tis mech has some serious fans. I'll be getting one too. Pull the AC/2's, and add armor, and large lasers, or pull all of the ACs and put on dual guass. I am not a fan of the default configuration, but you can do a lot with the chassis...
